Have you ever said something that made others immediately angry?

I want to hear your stories.

I already shared this whole situation on others posts: In a discord chat I thought it was ok to bring up something nsfw because others brought up very different but nsfw topics before (I already posted that whole chat and got answered on why it was wrong). As soon as I said the thing, everyone else in the chat got immediately angry at me. While trying to understand why it made them upset, they thought I was trying to justify it, and I should've apologized and stopped talking about it.

Have you ever made others really upset and just couldn't understand why?

I already posted this whole chat elsewhere and have gotten thorough discussion about why what I said was wrong. I brought up something too personal and sensitive and while trying to understand why it made them upset, they thought I was trying to justify it, and I should've apologized and stopped going on.

However, if no one in the chat knows each other IRL, in my opinion don't think its something that should make someone upset, as much as you may disagree with that. Admittedly my social skills are really bad, but I also think they have really poor emotional intelligence. You shouldn't care too much about what someone online says or does IRL, and let yourself be easily emotionally manipulated like that (especially on accident). Yellow complained about something days after the fact and only after I said the thing, I don't get why others don't address their problems until its too late or they're at a breaking point.
