I’m not usually a suspicious person, but when I first saw this dead bird on her head—with its neck/body folded up so horrifically, no less—I thought, well that can’t bode well for a marriage. And then we all know what happened. Why why why would anyone wear a dead bird on their head, on an average day, but especially on their wedding day???? Maybe it was a surreptitious hint from the (otherwise) brilliant costume designer?
