03 Hyundai Santa fe v6 noises
Only had a few minutes to take a quick look at my buddies car. I'll be cracking into in a few days, hoping for some insight before I do.
P0401 egr and p0741 tcc circuit stuck off
When you turn OFF the a/c compressor, it makes a strange noise from the accessory area, I'm guessing from the compressor itself. If you turn off the engine and restart, the noise is gone.
Doesn't sound like a clutch grinding noise I don't think, like a bad fan or pump noise? But why when you turn OFF the compressor?
As far as the engine itself, it sounds like a chopper motorcycle/misfire, I'm guessing because of the EGR. Says it drives fine on the freeway, drive it 6 hours away and back.
