I’ve realized that a lot of times it’s not even the rejection itself that scares me, it’s the embarrassment, overthinking, and the feeling of bothering someone.
Whether it’s approaching women, speaking up, trying something new, or even posting online sometimes, I tend to hesitate because I already imagine the negative outcome before anything even happens.
People always say “just be confident” or “just do it,” but I’m curious how people realistically got over this fear.
Did it fade with experience? Mindset changes? Repeated rejection? Or do you just learn to function despite the fear?
Interested to hear honest perspectives.
