[WTS] Custom Jim Green African Ranger (Brown) | Size 10 US | Painted Midsole | $137.20 (Ready to be shipped within 12 hrs!)

Hey everyone,

Continuing to streamline my boot rotation. I am parting ways with my Brown African Rangers (Size 10 US). If you've checked the Jim Green site recently, you'll know that size 10 is currently completely sold out in this colorway.

Shipping: I am ready to be shipped within 12 hours once purchased!

I’ve worn these for about 6 to 8 months. I kept the leather completely raw—zero oils, creams, or conditioners have been applied, so they are a blank canvas for the next owner. The boots still have their original Jim Green wedge soles, which are in decent shape with plenty of life left in them.

The Customization: I custom-painted the midsole edge with a desert sand-colored acrylic to give them a unique, refined look that stands out from the stock version.

Reason for selling: Just thinning out the collection!

Price: Listed at $137.20 firm (this covers the total on Vinted).

To keep the transaction secure and easy for both of us, I have listed these on Vinted. You can view the photos, check my seller feedback, and purchase them directly through the link below:

[WTS] Custom Walnut Veg Tan Jim Green Numzaan | Size 10.5 US | Vibram Resole | $251 (Ready to be shipped within 12 hrs!)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently streamlining my boot rotation, so I am parting ways with my Walnut Veg Tan Numzaans (Size 10.5, ASHM last).

Shipping: I am ready to be shipped within 12 hours once purchased!

I’ve worn them for about 6 to 8 months, but I kept the leather completely raw—zero oils, creams, or conditioners. They have minimal patina and are essentially a blank canvas for the next owner to break in.

The Customization & Value: I just had them freshly resoled with a Vibram 2021 wedge. I didn't swap the soles due to wear; I specifically upgraded them for a lighter weight and maximum all-day comfort on my feet. This sole swap shaved a full pound off the boots (dropping them from 4.8 lbs to 3.8 lbs), making them highly versatile and lightweight enough to wear comfortably all day long. Additionally, I custom-painted the midsole edge with a sand-colored acrylic to tie the whole aesthetic together.

Considering a stock pair retails for $234 and a premium Vibram resole runs $80–$120, you are getting a turnkey custom boot without the cobbler wait times.

Reason for selling: Just thinning out the collection!

Price: Listed at $251 firm (this covers the total on Vinted).

To keep the transaction secure and easy for both of us, I have listed these on Vinted. You can view the photos, check my seller feedback, and purchase them directly through the link below:

[WTS] Rare Natural Veg Tan Jim Green Numzaan | Size 10.5 US (ASHM) | Custom Vibram Resole | $263 (Ready to ship under 12 hrs)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently streamlining my boot rotation, so I am parting ways with my Natural Veg Tan Numzaans (Size 10.5, ASHM last). As you likely know, this specific veg-tan makeup is completely wiped out online and very hard to track down.

I’ve worn them for about 6 to 8 months, but I kept the leather completely raw—zero oils, creams, or conditioners. They have minimal patina and are essentially a blank canvas for the next owner.

The Customization: I just had them freshly resoled with a Vibram 2021 wedge. Green cap toe boots with dark brown leather laces 😍

Don't you think Jim Green should make houston green roughout boots in 719 with dark brown leather laces their regular production? If there's anyone in contact with them pls pls tell them to do it. Custom mades are insanely costly due to tariffs !

Note: The photo is of my custom cap toe boots. I showed this as an idea for jim green since i love their stc last boots 😇

I'm size 10 wide. I'm sharing different brand boots i wear for you all to save time and money. I've spent many hours and money to get the right fir and some of these boots i had to literally use at the end regardless since i was tired of purchasing and returning. Some of them i use thin insoles, some thick and some no insoles at all.

From left to right dr martens 1460 bex olive size 11 with thick insoles, size 9.5ee 8075 classic moc by red wing with thick insole ( i could have gone 9ee i believe but got tired of returning), size 10 vintage foundry jimara navy with no insole, size 9.5eee diesel boot tobacco ostrich with thick insoles, size 10.5 burgundy blundstone with thin insole, size 10 african ranger jim green with thin insole, size 10 thursday builder olive shinki shell cordovan moc toe with thin insole.

Ive also shared photos of my foot with longest and shortest boots i have. Thursday builder moc has been the perfect fit for me so far.

Check this photos. In one photo, on the left it is size 11 1460 bex dr martens, center is size 9.5ee 8075 classic moc by red wing and on the right is size 10 stc last african ranger by jim green.

My correct perfect fit is jim green size 10. But i first purchased size 10.5 classic moc, returned it, then bought size 10 classic moc, returned it and then bought 9.5ee classic moc.

By this time im tired of returning boots so keeping it. If you disregard the edges and focus on the main volume of the boots, you'd realize, classic moc 9.5ee has longer space than even size 11 1460 dr martens.

I put two thin insoles in it, doesnt give me blisters but feels longer than it should. I dont trip in them so im keeping them.

What do you think? Im also sharing photo of my foot on the side of the boot exactly where it will be inside the boot for you to judge. Do you guys think the boot is too long?

u/Ill-Guidance-5544 — 1 month ago

So this is where my thumb toe reaches. Are these too long for me? The boots become narrow if i get a half size smaller and the widest part of my feet is right now at the widest portion of the boots. These are size 10d iron rangers. I comfortably wear size 9.5ee classic moc toes. I could get size 9.5ee ir as well replacing these. But I've crossed the return window. Do any of you have similar things going on?
