nyx liner stain vs quick flick stain

Hey guys! I have the quick flick lip liner stain and think it's just not for me, I don't like the way it blends and don't find it really precise and a bit too purple brown for me. I do like how long it lasts tho. I was wondering if anyone who has the nyx lip liner stain can compare it with this one and tell me their experience with the nyx one, does it last long and can you get a precise line? thank you

Laura Mercier vs By Terry powder: Which one should I get?

I don't own a powder yet but would like to get one of the two (Laura mercer mini loose powder or By Terry pressed powder), was hoping if anyone could recommend me one based off of how I wear my makeup:

- Everyday I just do some blush and a lip combo, ocassinaly I will also use mascara.

- On the occasions where I do where concealer, it's pretty minimal and just used to spot concealer tiny spots or go a little bit under my eyes

- I don't own a foundation nor do I use my concealer as a foundation

- has to be easy to use and throw on when I'm in a rush, I'm always in a rush

- Should be able to use it to lock in my lip liner

I'm looking for a powder that can make my t-zone matte and also help my face look nice, noting that most of the time I don't even have makeup on my forehead/t-zone, it's usually just skincare.

Also was considering the morphe bake and set, does anyone have any experience with this?

Mac lustreglass signature move dupe

Hey guys! I've got my eye on M·A·C Cosmetics Lustreglass Lipstick in the shade signature move, but can't spend $40 on a lipstick. Does anyone know of any cheaper lipsticks that are the same shade?
I'm also open to suggestions on nude lipsticks for med-deep skin with an olive undertone :)

Have a good day everyone!

nyx marshmallow setting spray

I bought loreal's fixing spray after all the hype And it feels terrible, sticky and like hairspray so i don’t like to use it. I’m now on the hunt for a setting spray that will make my makeup transfer proof (or at the least be transfer resistant), hopefully matte and make my makeup last. Looking at drugstore/cheap options (around $10-15) and a good everyday option.
The nyx marshmallow spray seems to match the description, has anyone tried it? Does it actually minimise transfer?

Good 'ol colour correcting!

For context I do a more natural, barely there makeup. I only put makeup on my spots, no where else.

So I use a deep orange colour corrector as only that depth can cover my pigmentation. But it always leaves the area orange (obvi) and requires me to cover it with more concealer and then the whole area looks unnatural compared to the areas without makeup.

Recently I discovered the power of green colour corrector! (Yes the one people with red discolouration use). It works spectacular for taking away the orange-ness of the colour correction without minimising coverage, and without concealer. Also gives the oliveness that my natural skin has.

Give it a try if you have the same issue as me. I'd love to hear other people's colour correcting hacks or tips

demi makeup method

just came across the Demi makeup method on TikTok. Wondering if anyone has any tips to share or their own experiences. Essentially, it's makeup that looks like skin but more even, no foundation or concealer is used only colour correcting.

Buying one of these tomorrow, just don't know which one. Both have mixed reviews but depending on your own experience and my preference what would you guys recommend?

- has to stay on my face all day, no transfer
- I have combo skin so not dewy or anything
- has to be safe to wear often, heard that loreal one is literally hairspray so does anyone have any negative experience with using it on their face often
- good for natural makeup! I apply my makeup in lights layers (think Nina park type makeup) and don't really have powder version of my product except for one setting powder so I don't need it to do much about "setting the powder" or whatever they claim to do

thank you!
