Spare parts delivery time at Triumph SC in Pune?

Had a small mishap with my Scrambler 400X where the handlebar got slightly bent. Took it to the SC, and after inspection they told me that the front brake disc and alloy wheel/axle were also slightly bent/damaged and need to be replaced along with the handlebar.

They initially told me the parts should arrive and the bike would be ready within around 10 days, but it’s been some time now and I still haven’t received any confirmation regarding the parts.

For anyone who has recently got accident-related parts replaced at a Triumph SC in Pune, how long did it actually take for the ordered parts to arrive? Is 10 days a realistic timeline, or should I expect it to take longer?

Looking for REAL North-style chowmein around Hinjawadi/Baner/Aundh (not Hakka + Schezwan 😭)

Okay, North Indians living in Pune, I need your help.
I’m looking for actual North-style street chowmein around Hinjawadi, Baner, Balewadi, Aundh, Shivajinagar, or Bavdhan.

You know the one I’m talking about:
- Tossed in vinegar + soy sauce And yes… the questionable amount of ajinomoto (MSG) that somehow makes it taste good.😂

I’m not looking for the usual Hakka noodles served with Schezwan and chinese-bhel (no hate at all - I’ve been eating that for the last 4–5 years, just craving something different now).

It’s been almost a year since I last went home, and lately I’ve been missing that proper roadside chowmein you get in North India. Trying to find something that comes close.

If you’ve found a place that made you go, “Yep, this tastes like Delhi/UP/Haryana/Punjab street chowmein,” please drop the recommendation.

Please help a homesick guy. 🥲🍜

AND please be supportive cuz u know my next post gonna be about GHEWAR!!!!

Pune riders, need advice on AUX lights + routine check-up for Scrambler 400X

Hey everyone,

I own a Triumph Scrambler 400X based in Pune. I had my first service back in March, and since then I’ve ridden a little over 3,000 km.

I’m planning to visit Triumph Camp, Pune for a routine check-up (not my second service). The bike doesn’t have any major issues, but I feel there’s a slight “looseness” somewhere, as if a few bolts/screws might need tightening.
Apart from that, I’d like them to inspect the bike, check fluids/oil, chain, and give it a general once-over.

My main reason for visiting, though, is to install auxiliary lights.
I frequently ride in the Pune ghats, especially during the monsoon and early mornings when the fog can get extremely dense. I’m looking for AUX lights that:

  1. Perform well in heavy fog and rain.
  2. Have good throw without blinding oncoming traffic.
  3. Are reliable and durable.
  4. Work well with the Scrambler 400X’s electrical system.

A few questions for fellow Pune/Triumph owners:

  1. Which AUX lights would you genuinely recommend based on real-world experience?
  2. Should I buy them:
    - directly from the Triumph service centre,
    - from a local accessories shop in Pune,
    - or order them from the brand’s official website?
    - If buying outside the SC, are they generally okay with installing customer-bought AUX lights?
    - Any idea what I should expect to pay (lights + installation + routine-check)?

Also, since this is just a routine visit and not a scheduled service, is there anything specific I should ask the service centre to inspect while the bike is there?

Would really appreciate recommendations from riders who’ve done long rides around Tamhini, Mulshi, Bhor, Varandha, Amboli, or similar foggy ghat sections.

Thanks in advance! Ride safe.

Hey everyone, thanks for the solid momo recommendations last time! Since you guys clearly know your food, I need a lead on some serious Biryani.

I’m craving something properly masaledar (no "white/bland" biryanis please). Ideally, the rice should be flavorful but not greasy, and it has to come with a spicy salan that isn't just a layer of oil.

Looking for spots around Baner, Balewadi High Street, or Mahalunge. What’s your go-to?
