📝 Shelter Notes:
5/16/2026: Aliza greeted staff at the front of her kennel with her head low and tail wagging. She walked low to the ground at first but loosened up once outside. In the runs she was confident, playful, and got the zoomies. She greeted staff happily when returning from the runs and walked back to her kennel on a loose leash with a wagging tail.
5/19/2026: On move-out day, Aliza greeted staff at the run door with a wagging tail and walked nicely on a loose leash back to her kennel.
5/20/2026: Wiggly body, front paws tapping with excitement, and a fast wagging tail. Walked on a semi-forward leash and did not pull hard.
5/21/2026: Loose, relaxed body with an open smiling mouth. Walked on a loose leash but occasionally stopped briefly before continuing. In the outdoor run she played by running up and down with a neighboring dog.
5/22/2026: Similar behavior observed with a wiggly body, soft expression, and fast-paced walking. She remained energetic and difficult to redirect with treats.
5/23/2026: Aliza greeted staff with a wiggly body and soft, open mouth. She walked out quickly and confidently but would occasionally dart in different directions. She was not interested in treats for redirection.
5/24/2026: Greeted staff with a fast wagging tail and wiggly body. Walked lightly to and from the potty yard and allowed leashing without issue. Attempted to chew on the leash when staff tried to trade her out for another dog. Waited by the kennel door seeking interaction.
5/25/2026: Easy to leash and walk. Walked on a loose leash to the runs and frequently looked back at staff while walking.
5/26/2026: Excited and social with a fast wagging tail and wiggly body. Jumped on the kennel door for attention and zig-zagged playfully while walking. Waited by the kennel door for interaction.
5/27/2026: Calm and quiet during feeding and cleaning. Greeted staff with a relaxed body, wagging tail, and soft smile. Walked on a loose leash while frequently checking back in with her handler and rubbing against their legs.
🚑 Medical Notes:
5/15/2026: Intake exam normal. Weighed 38.6 lbs. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V.
5/16/2026: Vaccinated with Rabies and Bordetella, dewormed, given flea prevention, and tested Heartworm Negative.
5/29/2026: Recheck exam normal. Remains stable with no medical concerns noted.
