4 weeks left
I’m at 1700 rn I’ve done 2 medify mocks. I’ve been doing some light prep for 6 weeks. I’ve done 1.5k questions. Is it still possible to get 2000-2100 ?
I’ve started to do a mock a day. Is 4 hours daily for 4 weeks enough?

I’m completely pivoting from med to Aero engineering.
I got CCC in my a levels, I think it was a consequence of extreme burnout, i got A* for every mock I took at my school. I was doing literally 20 hour study days for a month before a levels, I think that contributed to my bad grades.
I’m resitting privately. And my predicted grades are A* A* A* as I did a set of mocks at my local exam centre 2 weeks ago and got those grades on the mocks. (So Ik that I can get the same grades next year)
So I’m sorted in terms of resit predicted grades and reference.
My supercurriculars include:
\\- Greenpower- built an electric car and raced it
\\- Silver dofe ( not relevant Ik)
\\- Built a plane for a competition
\\- Air cadets ( 4 years )
\\- COMPOS
Wex:
\\- Siemens mobility
I will do some more supercurriculars like MOOCs and learn some more practical skills. I could also get some more wex as I have a few connections.
Realistically, Ik it’s very ambitious - but could I get into Durham for Engineering ( Aeronautical ) ?
Even with a level resits ?
My GCSEs are 8887777766 ( 8s in bio chem maths)
I’m non contextual
The a levels I do are bio chem and maths, but I’m also thinking of taking up fm.
On their website they say “ You are welcome to apply if you are taking resits; resitting your qualification(s) will not negatively affect your application.”

My diagnostic mock was 1610 in June. I haven’t done a single full mock or mini mock since then. I’m going to do 2 mini mocks today tho. I’ve been putting it off for so long. Now I only have like 6 weeks left. I’ve been doing timed practice questions on individual topics here and there, but not much. I’ve only done 900 questions so far. Has anyone jumped by a huge amount in 6 weeks?
Hi,
I’m sorry this is sort of an ‘is this cancer’ type of post. I’m a bit of a nervous wreck right now. I’m 18f and have been noticing pain in my right knee. It sort of feels like a dull ache like a muscle ache, but I haven’t done any exercise or had any injury to cause a muscle strain. It feels really tender to touch and the bottom of my knee cap is swollen. The pain was on and off a week ago but now it’s become more constant, it feels like it’s always there but is mild it mostly hurts when I touch the area. The swelling only appeared when I woke up today morning. But the pain has been there for maybe 2 weeks. Is this something I should be concerned about ? I’m going to book an appointment with my GP tomorrow if the swelling does not subside. My knee does not feel hot, I don’t get night sweats, but the pain does seem to be more noticeable at night. Ik cancer is very rare and Ik that’s what my GP will most likely tell me but I don’t trust the NHS since a couple years ago I had a CSF leak which was misdiagnosed as a ‘migraine’ so ever since then I’ve had health anxiety.
I’ve been doing practice for a couple weeks now, I will attempt a full mock on Tuesday.
I have 7 weeks till my exam. How many hours should I do daily ? Is 4 too much ? Trying to go from 1610 ( diagnostic ) to 2100+
I have just bought Medify and medentry, I watched a couple of videos today to get a feel of how the UCAT is like. I feel like I’ve left revision REALLY last minute. I have my test booked for 16th of September which gives me exactly 9 weeks. I’m an international student so I need a really high score, anything below 2100-2200 and I’m essentially finished. Is it possible? I did a diagnostic mock today on medify and got 1650. I’m planning on doing a mock a day and 2 hours of practice for those 9 weeks. I have other exams to revise for too.
CAN I COMPLETELY CHANGE CAREER PATHS? I wanted to originally apply to med, like I’ve literally done everything except UCAT. But over the past few months I really feel medicine is not for me and have been a lot more interested in finance. The UCAS deadline is January 14th. Can I completely switch from medicine to accounting and finance ? I rlly don’t want to do medicine, I haven’t applied yet. But I have no ps , work experience , supercurruculars for accounting and finance. And I do bio chem maths a level which isn’t very great. Is it possible to still apply ? Like if I read books related to finance and do moocs would I still be competitive ? I have A* A* A predicted in bio maths and chem respectively. I am really interested in applying to Bristol, Bath, Durham and Exeter.
I FEEL SO DOOMED and I can’t take a gap year
Has anyone ever gotten into medicine undergraduate while resitting a levels? With rlly bad grades on the first attempt ( Cs and Ds) without any extenuating circumstances?
In the Uk
