Two bloody shift leaders in the whole store. Only two! And this is in a big superstore, not even an express. Everyone’s stepping down, transferring stores, etc. Our store manager is a bitch to everyone and making our lives hell and giving out Lets Talk like free candy to basically all of us whilst he’s gossiping to people and eating on the shopfloor but he tells us off if we talk once or eat anything on the shopfloor and blaming a colleague about not doing waste properly even though a certain colleague has never done waste before. Multiple people are contacting Protector Line on our store manager. Fuck this company honestly. And fuck these trippy store managers where even Head Office don’t give a fuck about store managers either!

Not sure about other stores, but we recently got a new store manager and he's been telling us about how people use their Colleague Clubcard screenshot in his previous stores and they use cash and they used to report it to the fraud team and get their Colleague Clubcard suspended. We never did this ever, but I think I’m happy with this rule!

Many colleague clubcard holders come in at 7/8pm and wait around with bunch of CS items in their trolley, and he's encouraging us to save the receipts and then leave it the next day at the manager's office so that they can report it. So many people come to our store every evening and basically take the whole fridge so I'm glad we are cracking down on all of this! It seems fun and petty at the same time but how do they actually report it or how does the whole system work of suspending one's Colleague Clubcard work? Thanks bc

Anybody knows the policy of “stress leave”? And does anyone know if its paid or not? Struggling with mental health and especially with this heat, I just can’t stand some colleagues and managers anymore as well as dumb customers too. One shift leader said it was meant to be paid but I’m not 100% sure. Thank u in advance

Needless to say, it’s also not the workers fault that the card reader went down. And she wants “compassion” because of your mum in the hospital because of her illness? The poor workers were literally faced with verbal abuse and rudeness from people like her and the workers are probably also having a stressful evening because of that inconvenience! This is such a narcissistic post in my opinion.

When you work on self-service, and a customer mis-scan an item (didn’t scan) and put it down the bagging area. Then the customer calls you for help and then you tell the customer you didn't scan X item, and they always mostly say it angrily "I DID SCAN IT!", and then I say no, it hasn't went through. Then you pick up the item and scan it for them and they never say thank you. This always happens every shift I’m on self service. 🫠

Naagin 7 is generally the loneliest season ever. No background naag/naagins compared to all the other seasons. Budget flopped. Ekta shouldn’t do Naagin 8 if she has such a low budget on Naagin tbh.

Edit: I realised Apra's (fake) family are technically naag/naagins but they won’t even get their forms back since Ananta is technically gonna resign as Anant Kul Naagrani. So technically this season is mega lonely. No naagloks and no naag/naagins to support Ananta except Bharni and Prathaam (where they both dies in the end of this season). 🥲

When Fareed put the music on for Kauser, why was the phone showing “Jai Bhole”, “Shree Ram” and “Hanuman ji”? 😂😂

Ugh first day back in after a month of holiday and whilst I’m doing my training on the shopfloor, an old white woman nudges her trolley on my behind, so I turn around and say what do you want? She want to use the toilet. So then I said okay sure but next time don’t nudge a trolley on my behind because it’s rude. I said it nicely. Then she says “Oh I don’t understand you”, so I said it again nicely again and said it can be classed as sexual assault (I was doing the anti-bullying training at the time), and then she was shocked and still said she didn’t understand and then for the third time that I repeated myself, she said “Can you speak in English because I can’t understand?”

Me standing there talking with a British accent clearly, but somehow when you call CUNTSTOMER’S dumb actions out, then you get subjected to racism. (Fuck the far right politics too) I told her to fuck off and find another colleague.

I’m Asian if the context matters, I didn’t let it get to me anyway because she’s an old white woman and I live in a pretty Conservative/Reform area, so I don’t really care and usually when you call out these people’s actions, they project lol. But come on, first day back at work and I get subjected to this stupid nonsense, all because I called a customer out for their assault. Disgusting.

Edit: Sigh, racists exists on r/tesco and its actually so sad. Just downvoting comments because they’re too afraid to be replaced by immigrants when in fact it’s just a stupid hoax.

Genuinely fuck them. Fuck them. They probably get wages like us but whatever. It's basically a tool to save the company money to get rid of staff who does the smallest mistake ever. Example, handing items before paying on CSD, not doing BOB and LISA properly when there's a big rush and queue and being caught out by the Hub for it, not "voiding" transactions properly, etc.

Like sometimes the first one is just a reflex, I put my hand out first sometimes.

BOB and LISA is fine but not when it's super fucking busy, you're stressed, alone working on the self-checkouts with 10 of them open, customers shouting at your face whilst checking other people's shopping on SAYS. If they're that worried about shrink then fucking remove SAYS then or something. 😭😭

Voiding transactions too, I literally get so much mixed opinions from Team Leaders and managers saying different things all the time.

Don't wanna be too controversial on this take but I think the actresses look really nice when they wear the hijab, especially in scenes set in the madrasa zone. Especially the recent scene where the male students are being congratulated for becoming a Hafiz (people who have memorised the Qur’an), it felt a bit weird that most of the female characters weren't observing hijab properly apart from one of the background character next to Safeya.

Even Kausar and Seher, who are in a madrasa environment, weren't shown wearing it in front of all those random men and male students too. I also noticed today's episode (131) when Insha was shown praying, she looked very graceful in hijab and it really suited the scene too.

Just wish they did promote the hijab aesthetics more in the show, but I do also know that many South Asian women wear it like a dupatta too like in India and Pakistan, which is also fine, but as mentioned, they should try and bring more proper Islamic representation to the show too. 🥲

Is anyone else Team Support and can’t see the Checkout allocator on their app? So annoying, even the documents, personal and employment details aren’t working either. Why do they always do maintenance to this stupid app for it to become even worse???

Hey, I would like to ask if theres people that have any experience in CHM Montalivet and how it was like?

I am going this early August, everything booked with a 2 day AirBnB outside the CHM zone however, all the tickets are booked during this season. I have some friends that are inviting me to stay in their bungalow for a week in CHM Monta but apparently there’s lots of security. One of my French citizen friend said he will “sneak me” inside. I’m quite worried because I don’t know anything about how to get in if it’s a gated area. And apparently just by saying “I have friends that are hosting me” isn’t going to help.

I’m a British citizen, so I’m not sure what I have to expect. And I don’t have the money to book these extortionate prices unfortunately. I am also a first time naturist and I would love to be with my friends in the duration in France.

If there’s any advice, it would help. Thanks in advance!

I can’t find my P60 on the documents nor can I see my past P60s. Anyone know when it will come this year? I remember previous years were 11th/12th May but they’re also gone from the app too. Today is the 15th. 😭 I just want to print off my P60. 🥲

Okay nobody is talking about this but what actually was the point of Mahid removing Seher’s hijab if she was going to put it back on again, and not only that, if they are going to be “separated”, there really is no need for that. And they’ve claimed big talks with Islamic teachings during the gatherings, but yet hijab is removed in that scene. Doesn’t p me off or anything since you get weird representation of Islam within any TV serials, but it’s just a random thought and just a weird and very unnecessary scene for me. 😂
