What site does everyone recommend stocking up on a few extra G3 magazines from?
So, I've decided to make room for one of these in my safe after seeing it at the local store. It's in used condition, and seemed to be in fairly clean condition with a smooth, easy-to-charge action, and a comfortable trigger pull. They were asking 700, but took 650 out the door, so of course I put it on layaway. The problem is that I forgot to take the extra step and look at the internals and check the bolt gap while I was there, so I'm trying to plan ahead in case I need to find any parts.
What's a good site to order from? I've browsed RTG and Apex, but am looking for other recommendations.
Long story short, I walked into the local shop a few days ago and this specific rifle caught my eye. It's used, but it looked good, felt good, and the price isnt too unreasonable at $700 (although hopefully I can talk them down!).
I've already been down every corner of the Internet to find out what exactly the deal is with these. I'm fully aware some of them are absolute lemons. I'm also aware others are absolute machines with decent results!
So, from those who have owned one, would it be a mistake to add this into my safe?

How do I connect a sharp viewcam vl-e39u (3.5mm a/v Jack) to a mini dvr unit for tapeless recording?
I recently scored my first Hi8 camcorder in my collection. It's a fully functional Sharp Viewcam VL-E39U, and I was lucky enough to find that it did in fact still have a clean tape in the deck! I'm considering installing a mini dvr unit to record to an SD card although I'd like to still use tapes for certain aesthetic/artistic purposes.
I've seen mention of using a firewire cable, but what method would be best to convert any footage over to digital?
