For me it's this 👇🏼. I recently saw this movie for the first time on YouTube, and that shit didn't get out of my mind for like 3-4 Days !
I don't even know why I'm posting this. Maybe I just need to get it off my chest.
About 1.5 years ago, my life completely fell apart.
I was in an 8-year relationship with a guy from my old locality. Looking back now, I ignored every warning sign possible because I loved him and trusted him.
In December 2024, we were preparing for our housewarming ceremony. Around that time, my ex started threatening me. He said that if I didn't talk to him, he'd tell my dad about our relationship.
I didn't want things to become a huge issue at home, so I tried handling everything myself.
Two days before the housewarming, he tried contacting me through a junior girl from my department. I refused to meet him.
The next two days were holidays for third years, so I didn't go to college. They somehow assumed I was avoiding college because I was scared of them.
On the morning of my housewarming ceremony, while I was busy with the pooja and family functions, they started spamming my phone from around 6 AM.
When I finally checked my phone around 11 AM, I saw the calls and called the girl back.
What she told me still shocks me.
She said my ex wanted me to leave my house and come to him carrying gold jewelry and valuables from my home.
On the day of my own housewarming.
I immediately refused, shouted at her, blocked her, and told her never to contact me again.
But it didn't stop.
She started calling me from random numbers and other students' phones.
I disabled incoming calls because I was tired of it.
What happened next changed everything.
That girl twisted the entire situation and informed my class coordinator that I was planning to run away from home with my boyfriend and take all the jewelry from my house.
The next morning, while we were eating breakfast after all the housewarming exhaustion, my class coordinator called my father.
She informed him that I was supposedly planning to run away from home with my boyfriend and steal jewelry.
My dad was furious.
He immediately told me that my education was over and that I would not continue studying.
I was terrified.
A little later we went back to our old house to pack things and move completely into the new one.
My phone had already been taken away.
At that point I genuinely believed my life was over.
I thought my studies were finished.
I thought my future was finished.
And then I made one of the worst decisions of my life.
I ran away from home.
Not because I wanted to be with him.
Not because I wanted to steal anything.
I ran because I was terrified of losing my education and being trapped forever.
His house was within walking distance from mine.
The moment my parents realized I was missing, they filed a complaint.
The police arrived at his house and took me to the station.
I spent hours there, scared out of my mind.
Eventually I went back with my dad.
For the next few days we stayed at my grandmother's house.
My father took me for counseling.
The counselor advised him to let me continue my education.
He wasn't ready to listen.
I was taken home.
From that point onward, life felt like a prison.
No phone.
No freedom.
No privacy.
Nothing.
After some time my father finally agreed to send me back to college.
But he would personally drive me there.
He would wait outside the college the entire day.
Sometimes under a tree.
Sometimes in a nearby park.
Then he would take me back home.
Every single day.
I know now how exhausting that must have been for him.
Meanwhile college became another nightmare.
Because rumors had already spread.
People judged me without ever asking my side of the story.
Students ignored me.
Some teachers treated me differently.
I sat alone most of the time.
Then one day a classmate casually told me that the entire department knew.
According to her, the junior girl had told everyone.
Not just the truth.
A hundred fake stories too.
People from first year to third year apparently knew some version of my life.
That completely broke me.
Then came the final blow.
One day I borrowed a junior's phone in college and called my ex.
I wanted answers.
I wanted to know why all this happened.
He answered drunk.
And what he said destroyed whatever trust I still had.
He basically told me that I deserved what happened.
He said if I had given him the money he wanted, none of this would have happened.
Then he tried convincing me to meet him again.
That's when I realized my parents had been right all along.
He never cared about me.
He cared about money.
Eight years.
Gone.
Just like that.
Unfortunately my class coordinator saw me making that call too.
She informed my father again.
After that I stopped going to college completely.
I missed my final semester examinations.
At home things got even worse.
I was yelled at.
Punished.
Completely broken mentally.
There was a period where I barely functioned.
I isolated myself from everyone.
For months I felt like I had destroyed my family, my education, my reputation, and my future.
Eventually I started recovering little by little.
I joined badminton classes.
I tried distracting myself.
I started thinking about education again.
In August I finally gathered the courage to speak openly with my father.
I apologized.
I admitted my mistakes.
I told him I wanted to study.
I wanted a fresh start.
But he wasn't willing to give me freedom, internet access, devices, or normal college life.
I felt hopeless.
I genuinely thought there was no future left for me.
At my lowest point, I attempted su*c*de by consuming Pills
I ended up in the ICU.
Police got involved again.
They asked whether I wanted action taken against my father.
I said no.
Because despite everything, I knew he wasn't my enemy.
While I was hospitalized, my father promised something.
He said he would let me continue my studies.
And for the first time in months, I had hope.
After my recovery, he enrolled me in NMAT coaching.
Slowly things started changing.
I completed my pending academic work.
I rejoined the path I had abandoned.
I appeared for NMAT.
I scored 248.
Then I completed my final semester.
And somehow, despite everything that happened...
I graduated.
B.Com (Hons.) Professional Accounting.
9.62 CGPA.
Even writing that feels unreal.
Today I'm planning to join an online MBA in Finance + Business Analytics.
Life isn't perfect.
Our finances aren't perfect.
I still regret losing money to someone who never deserved my trust.
I still regret the pain I caused my family.
I still carry guilt.
A lot of guilt.
But for the first time in a very long time, I have a future.
If you've read this far, thank you.
To date, I'm not allowed anywhere out alone, and I have no phones; I use only my laptop. And my parents' fear made me choose an online MBA, staying home under their vision, and my parents are trying to get me married. maybe soon. but now today i felt superr bad that we couldnt even afford my online MBA fees.
Maybe this post is a reminder that one terrible chapter doesn't have to become the entire book.
And maybe it's a reminder that sometimes the people trying to save you look like the villains until years later when you finally understand what they were protecting you from.
Might delete later.

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to pursue an online MBA in Finance + Business Analytics from Jain University (they’ve recently updated their curriculum), and I’d really appreciate some honest, no-filter feedback from people who are currently enrolled or have completed it.
A bit about me and MY Qualifications:
What I want to know:
I’m not expecting IIM-level placements, just want something that genuinely adds value and skills.
Would really appreciate honest experiences — even negative ones.
Thanks in advance 🙏
