This is the only surviving photo I have of my childhood cat Topsy. She lived to the grand old age of 22 and was a real prim and proper lady. She was very tolerant of me as a child, until she wasn’t😼.

When my future husband stayed at our house for the first time one Christmas. She famously snubbed every treat and toy he got her🤣🤣. Not sure what she was saying but we’re still married 29 years later!!

One day Dey habs a bootful kitten called Princess Aurora. Dey so Happee dat Dey grow a big pawtee for eberywun.

3 bootful fairies do a visit to da pawtee. Da first fairy wish da Pwincess grow bootful( well duh!). Da second wish da Pwincess be kind.

But before da third cud speek another fairy appear!! She no be invited cos she meen. Den da mean fairy say dat when da pwincess is 18 furebers she pwick her finger on a spinny wheel fing an die !!!!!! Den she disappear.

Da third fairy do a fink an say she can change da spell so da Pwincess fall asleep an no die. Da only fing dat can wake her is a kiss frum a pwince.

Da king an Queen burn all da spiny wheel fings in da kingdom. Eventually Dey forget about da meen fairy spell.

Pwincess Aurora growed up to be bery bootiful an kind
When da Pwincess is 18 furebers old she do a splore of da castle. She find a smol room wiv a spinny wheel fing and a fairy who she no know. Da meen fairy mek da Pwincess touch da spinny wheel fing a she fall asleep.

Da whole castle fall asleep too an a big forest grew up around it. It so big dat no one can get in ……..
