I'm rewatching fruits basket an I'm in the final season around the time Kyo remembers tohrus moms death. Am I the only one who thinks that the story didn't need for Kyo to have witnessed her death an feely guilty about it? I just think it adds more unnecessary pain an sorrow. Did the manga handle it differently then the anime ?

I'm rewatching the show, an I'm at the episode with izuzu an she said she is drawn to tohru an wants to hug an cry. I'm pretty sure yuki has said something about being drawn to her an she becomes like a mother figure of sorts. So I have a theory, what if tohru is a second god? Not in the literal sense, but like some sort of instinct type thing. Like akito was such a horrible god that the universe brought a new one in tohru an she decided to use her "power" to set them free. With the power of love or something cheesy. Just a theory though. Thoughts?
Was there ever a chance that tohru an yuki to be a couple? I only read like 1 manga volume but I've watched the anime a few times, in the beginning they teased them but it didn't last long. Does anyone know if the author planned for her to not be with yuki or if it was a toss up while writing?
I'm probably not the only one who's drawn this. Also Damiens tattoos are hard to draw 🙃
