new show recommendations

i'm looking for a fun new adventure type show. i'm currently watching fringe (s3), the last of us (s2), supernatural (s12), yellow jackets (s2), and they're all so sheepish which normally i love but i really want a fun sort of light but not comedy forward show. I love buffy so much and i'm looking for something that catches the vibe of the first 3 seasons. i would prefer a show before 2012, but if any modern day ones catch the same vibe thats okay too. i need characters i can obsess over, a found-family type friend group, maybe a slow burn that's not the main plot (cannot watch a show if the main plot is romance), and a female character i can resonate with.

how to drink wine

so i am a hostess at a winery and I've learnt that my favourite wine (Frizzante Siegerrebe) is only good for 24 hours. a whole bottle is a lot of wine but also it's easy to drink i guess. i just wanna know your thoughts because i keep comparing it to say a bottle of water or juice and that's a lot of liquid. so when you drink, do you drink planning for an entire bottle?

abnormal behaviour in my dog

My 9-year-old Presa Canario is suddenly acting very different and I’m worried something is wrong.
He’s always been a pretty independent dog. He likes being around people but has never been cuddly or affectionate. Recently, he’s become extremely clingy and wants to be touching me constantly. He’ll try to sit in my lap, lie on my feet, or press himself against me while chewing a toy. If I move, he often follows.
The biggest issue is the panting. He pants almost constantly, even when resting. He’s also become much more vocal than usual. Lots of whining and barking, but it doesn’t seem aggressive. It genuinely seems like fear or distress.

One thing that really stuck with me was a night where he was asleep, suddenly jumped up out of bed, ran out of the room, and started pacing and whining. It honestly looked like a child waking up from a nightmare.

Other things I’ve noticed:
Increased pacing
Seems to settle briefly when I’m right beside him, then starts pacing again
More vocal than he used to be
Ribs seem more noticeable to me, although the vet said his weight is fine (around 80 lbs)
Small pink patch on his gums where the surrounding gum tissue is normally black-pigmented
He is still eating, sleeping at night, and interested in toys.

The vet has already done bloodwork and X-rays and I’m waiting for the results review today.
Has anyone had a dog develop constant panting, clinginess, pacing, and what seems like fear/anxiety later in life? If so, what ended up being the cause?
I’m not looking for a diagnosis, just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar while I wait for the vet to call.

most people don't have hormonal acne

my personal hot take, most people don't have hormonal acne. i think people underestimate what very common ingredients can make them break out. for me, niacinamide makes my skin flush and gives me cystic acne. i can only tolerate bha if it's 1% or lower and it has to be a gel or cream, if it's a toner, liquid, mist, or toner pad, i will get cystic acne and comedomes. Ceramides AP and EOS make my skin hot, burn, i get cystic acne, i get white heads and textured skin.

its small things that you don't realize your skin doesn't like, and you keep trying new products without having a base routine.

for me a base routine is where every single product is personally curated and i know that there is absolutely no way i will break out from it.

so when i eat something or try a product that breaks me out or enter an environment (ex. a dirty bathroom) and break out, i can return to my base routine until my skin settles.
