Bit worried about starting

I’m coming in September to study environmental science. I have never visited Leeds due to some last minute mind changes of where I wanted to go, but I know the course looks good and I am happy with my choice in that regard. I’m worried I won’t vibe with the place and it will not have a nice cosy welcoming feel. Also I really don’t want to go clubbing so am worried about that as well as I don’t know if my experience of the city will be different to most or become boring and I’ll feel out of place. Are there still cute corners of the city to go with nice coffee shops and restaurants? Sorry if I’m being naive but since I’ve never been I’m concerned the area might just be very stereotypically northern and industrial and have not much history or charm.

Natural sciences

Does anybody on here do the natural sciences Bsc with the mathematics, environmental science or biology routes??
If so, how have you found them and is it difficult to balance the different disciplines?

Am I crazy

Has anybody else done a really good paper after a not so good paper 1 and then become paranoid that the good paper is gonna get lost in transit and so won’t count and boost my grade back up or is this just me.

Helppp

I have a natural sciences Bsc offer from UoN that I have firmed, but am feeling really uneasy about my decision seeing all the debts and subsequent issues occurring. I have contacted uni of Leeds who have said I would be able to make their environmental sciences Bsc my new firm or insurance, of which I originally had an offer for but declined.
My current insurance choice is no longer any good as I feel although a great uni (UCL) the course is too geology heavy for me.
I like Nottingham as the course allows for interdisciplinary study, but seeing the module cuts idk how this will actually be.
The uni of Leeds course has a lot of options and Leeds have discovery modules which means that keeping the degree broad is still available to me there.
Only thing holding me back is thinking that a natural sciences Bsc will perhaps look better than environmental science, and Nat science will allow me to continue with more maths that perhaps I won’t get with environmental science.
Should I go ahead with changing Leeds to my firm?

Deficit impacts

I have firmed UoN for the natural sciences Bsc as I like the modules available and the flexibility of the programme. However, as I’m sure many others are, I am very off put and worried about the UoN deficit and staff cut issues and am wondering if I ought to be looking to go elsewhere through clearing.
How much will the issues affect how employers look at my degree, the modules on the degree programme and my experience at the uni as a student?
Thanks.
