I was thinking of a possible niche to give Meowstic, then thought that if it can alter space itself, why not give it an ability that negates something? In this case, I initially thought of giving it the niche of a Cloud 9 Pokemon or more importantly, a Trick Room counter. It learns a lot of supporting moves like fake out, screens, and thunder wave so I thought it would be nice if it was paired with something that would normally eat trick room pokemon alive. Also thought it should negate items but it seemed like too much on top of an ability that shuts down half the strategies in the game. In fact as I'm writing this right now maybe I should alter the post to not include weather and only have it negate specifically terrains and trick room.

Other option was "what if Meowstic made everyone play fair" and just have its niche be removing stat changes and power changes. So things like Swords Dance and Tailwind would be pointless while it's on the Field. But then I start thinking about the fact that its Special Attack and Speed Stat ain't that bad and thought maybe it was too good? But it should be frail enough to shut down but then again it can just be protected by a partner easily...
