Men 40+, what does your life really look like offline?

Social media makes it seem like everyone has life figured out. What does yours actually look like? What’s going well? What are you quietly struggling with? Anything you thought you’d have figured out by now but don’t? Just curious what real life looks like in 2026, for men over 40 and without the highlight reel.

What career change after 40 gave you the biggest return?

I’ve been thinking about making a major career change and going back to school. Part of me feels excited, but another part wonders if I’m too late.
For those who went back to school in their 40s (or later):
Was it worth it?
Did it actually improve your career?
What surprised you most?
Is there anything you’d do differently?
I’d appreciate hearing honest experiences
—both positive and negative.
