Loanwords??
I keep seeing loanwords everywhere, even when there is a japanese word for the thing (like committee, edition, etc.). What is up with that? Is it for like... dramatic effect? Are japanese people supposed to just know English to a degree?

Im doing stroke order drills right now, since ive done very minimal handwriting in my studies despite knowing close to 300 kanji. This is the first one that really tripped me up, and it begs the question, is it noticeable or strange to write the downstroke first? Do native speakers seem to all follow stroke order like this one? I've heard some people say it helps with kanji boundaries, i.e. not writing them too big or long, but i figure id ask here do get some input from those more experienced. Have you noticed some kanji like this that you dont follow the stroke order of intentionally, or does it help across the board?
I have been using the Caelestia dotfiles for around a year, and its been in Rust for as long as I can remember. I am setting up a new computer (using Manjaro/Hyprland). I just checked the github repo and the instructions changed, to using the aur to install the cli and running caelestia install. I did that, but the actual .config files that used to come with the rice are not there. Caelestia's dots were awesome because they were organized and comprehensive, and had a lot set up that was specific to the rice. Does anyone know where/how to install the correct dotfiles that used to come with the rice?
*EDIT*: Lmao if you're having this issue just restart your computer. I'm a moron.
Now I'm having a new issue, my cursor disappears on windows that have anything open that isn't terminal. Has anyone else had issues with this?

One of the best things about 2016 was the level size. Decently re-playable, not too long and not too short. I didn't mind going back for secrets. Eternal's levels are GIGANTIC, but they make up for that with fast travel. Now they hit us with easily 1:30:00+ levels and zero fast travel????? I got 97% because of a level that had no point-of-no-return indicator at a point-of-no-return near the END of a level. I missed what, 3 or 5 gold? there goes another hour and a half apparently. Fast travel would genuinely make this game an 11/10 for me, far surpassing Eternal. However, I am constantly and sorely reminded that that is not the case. It isn't "unforgiving" or a "skill check", it's a WASTE OF TIME. This is coming from someone who spend countless hours attempting the Pantheons in Hollow Knight. THAT was an unforgiving skill check. This is a cruel joke by a comedian who selected the wrong major in college.
