It doesn’t hurt at all, the surrounding area is a little red, but other than the liquid it’s fine. Is this just lymphatic fluid? Yes, I washed and sanitized my hands before touching this.
It’s 9 days old, I don’t know the shape, and I clean it 2x daily.
My piercer is on maternity leave and I can no longer contact her. I suspect it’s infected. It doesn’t hurt that bad, but it does have crust build up and I cannot tell whether it’s the fluid that comes with healing or pus. I don’t it’s rejected because the skin isn’t thinning and in the photo I am pushing the piercing up to showcase it better. I did wash and sanitize my hands before touching it. It’s a week old. This is the first time this had happened. I keep a keen eye on it, and it’s only now exhibited this behavior.
I’m actually tweaking so badly. I want to finish it, I really do, but I can’t bring myself to do so. Jesus Christ, I love slow burn but this a snail simmering. And it sucks because the plot is just now picking up. I just started book six and my motivation is on the floor. I think I like—I can’t really tell because it’s SO FUCKING SLOW—like what do you mean they dragged this tortoise race out for 12 books. I’ll be sixty by the time they have their first kiss.
If it’s this agonizing already, is it worth it? If so, PLEASEEE give me motivation to finish it. Like I said, the potential is there but my motivation isn’t. I decided to give Erha a try because I liked remnants of filth…so far, Erha has utterly disappointed me. It’s not the length, I can handle long books, it’s the pacing that’s the issue.
Not to sound negative, because I do find some traits likable and I want to see how the plot goes, but does it even progress or is it continuously drawn out I guess what I don’t mean is if it’s worth finishing, I just need encouragement to finish it.
