I own a 2025 PP XSE. A new level 2 charger has options from 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36 and 40A. What should I set the amperage to while charging to preserve longevity of my car battery + charge in 4ish hours?
As mentioned in the title - my power outlet is rated at 240V, 50A and has a NEMA 6-50 plug. I don't have access to wifi as my parking is 3 levels underground and there is no signal. Any recommendations for Canada?
Hi all, i recently purchased a Grizzl-E mini charger through their club membership program and learnt after it's arrival that the charger requires continuous wifi connection which my underground parking has no access to and cannot fit a wifi router as I am renting the unit in my condo.
I am now looking for anything that needs none of those extra BS to get through charging - just want a plain old level 2 charger. My wall outlet is a NEMA 6-50 R with a 50A-250V output. Would love some recommendations.
I am even good with 2nd hand options at this point as long as they are reliable.
Hello, i recently got a Grizzle E Mini after doing some research on what best suited my needs for charging my car. However, my parking lot is in the underground parking and there is no access to wifi in the area, making it impossible to set it up for the first time. My condo unit also does not come with any of the high voltage plug points to connect my charger and set it up.
Is there anyone who has had a similar experience? When I plugged in my charger, it flashes yellow (which on the user manual says that it means "Charging is restricted by smart features").

We have heard so much about how Badminton as a sport is very different because of cultural influences in Japan. We would love to meet up and play with folks in Tokyo if anyone is of the same level. Hi, I'm an amateur badminton player. I did a drill for drops recently and I was disappointed to see how my drops dont look deceptive at all - both the back swing and my slicing makes it really obvious a drop is coming. How do I fix this?
Looks like my current charger wont fit into this NEMA 6-50 socket and also the voltage rating of the socket seems higher than my charger's - i'm afraid it might fry the charger.
I can't really get a permanent charger like a FLO charger installed because I am renting in a condo. Is there a good charger out there (level 1 or 2) that I can get? My car uses a J1772 port (Prius Plug in 2025).
I have a Level 1 charger which came with the car but my condo building only comes with 120 V - do I need a new level 2 charger to charge my car or can I get an adapter?

I'm having trouble setting up HomeLink for my building condo's garage gate. We use an ICT fob and I live in Canada. I've tried following the instructions on the rear view mirror screen and when I get to the part where it says "Hold press the button on the fob while keeping it 2 inches away from the mirror", nothing happens even though ive held the gate opening button on my fob. I wonder if homelink is incompatible with my fob.
Anyone have experience using a similar fob from ICT and try to program HomeLink?
Anyone got tips on things I should know on my PP?

Edit: I found another reddit thread suggestion which worked for me. You just have to email backoffice@toyotaconnected.com with the VIN no. of the car in the subject line. In the email, also add that you would like to reset the profile along with 1. Driver's full name, 2. Address, 3. Phone number 4. Attached copy of Ownership or Purchase agreement, 5. Attached copy of driving license of the primary driver. I got a response in under an hour with an email stating that the profile was refreshed and I could register again.

I've a 2025 Prius Plugin XSE Premium getting delivered tomorrow. I've test driven the vehicle a lot but id still love some inputs from experienced drivers of the new XSE premium on how to maximize my efficiency. Here's what my week looks like normally:
Drive to work 27km one way (mix of highway + city) and return for a total of 54km --- 3 days a week
Drive to my sports club about 20km one way and return for a total of 40km (mostly highway driving) --- 2 days a week
From the above I am anticipating an average of under 250km per week.
What mode should I drive in ? Should I just leave it on Auto and let the car do it's thing? Need advice as I've never owned a Plug in hybrid before.

Is this because this is my first car purchase ?
