First Busy Book

Finished my first ever busy book for my nieces birthday! It was quite a learning journey, but I’m so happy i finished it since I leave so many projects half finished. Happy to hear any critiques or ideas! I might add one more page because her birthdays not for a few more weeks.

Edit: adding materials used and how I made it!

Bought the flower page design from @dotelldesigns on IG / @margaretbruner on TikTok. She sells tons of designs but I really wanted to learn how to create them myself so I used cricut design space to make the rest of the pages (it definitely took longer due to trial and error). I also used her Amazon storefront to get my first set of materials, then went to hobby lobby, Michael’s and Walmart to get specific things like trim and fabric. I found walmart to be the cheapest place to get individual sheets of felt which was nice because I knew I’d need lots of pink and white sheets.

List of materials used:

Things I bought:
Fabritac Glue
Stiffening spray https://a.co/d/0dQmlfoo
Heatnbond https://a.co/d/066QTFHX https://a.co/d/01c2mWK5
Velcrodots https://a.co/d/01whGTiH
Fabric, felt, ribbons and trim (from Amazon, hobby lobby, Michael’s, and Walmart) https://a.co/d/0gvSUHWy
Cricut HTV https://a.co/d/02J67H1e
Craft sewing clips https://a.co/d/02ttc904
Bamboo sticks(flower page only) https://a.co/d/0dKkJV97
White chip board https://a.co/d/03suWBK0
Rotary blade (you can def get this cheaper elsewhere) https://a.co/d/0aGfT1sa
Binder rings https://a.co/d/02ODg7yS

Things I used but already had:
Hot glue gun & glue
Fabric scissors!!
Hole puncher
Cricut maker 3
Craft tweezers (not a necessity but can help get less glue on your hands)
Iron and ironing board for the HTV and heatnbond

I don’t benefit from the Amazon links at all and most of these supplies are sold at Walmart and craft stores if you prefer to shop in person.
