My wife just picked up a 2027 GLC 350e. Our first MB. She moved over from a 2014 BMW X5 that was about to collapse into a pile of parts on the road.

Absolutely gorgeous vehicle inside and out. I won’t be driving it much (it’s hers, and I also got a new car in July so I’m happy), but it sure is nice to look at!

She’s only had it a few days (went straight to ceramic coater, pic is when we picked it up yesterday) but loves it oodles so far. Happy wife, happy life 🙂

What a great way to start a Sunday morning. Clear skies, a megacicle freshly filled with tropical banana, a crisp cranberry kombucha, and my best friend in the world at my feet.

My favorite high is always the first one of the day. I like to nest like a pregnant woman before that first one lol. Get everything just perfect to start the day.

I just don’t think it gets any better than this.

I picked up my 2026 almost three weeks ago. Since that day, when I try to do the remote view of my car, I get what you see in the video.

I have tried everything: privacy settings are set for everything allowed, I rebooted/reset iDrive countless times, deleted and reinstalled app, etc. No love.

All other remote features work flawlessly.

In researching this issue, I saw that some people said it didn’t work for the first couple weeks and then started working. But I’m now almost three weeks in and it has never worked.

Has anybody had this issue and fixed it, or does it ALREADY need to go in for repairs?

I assume many/most of you know this, but for n00b i4 owners like myself, I thought this might be helpful if you’re in a front-plate-required state and want to jeep your bodywork pristine.

my dealer talked me out of him drilling the grill to mount the front plate, saying its only like a $50 ticket and a secondary violation (cant pull you over for it). I’m a rule follower so I could only hold out for about a week before needing to mount it lol

i found a mount that attach right to your front tow hook threaded socket. Took all of about 5 minutes to install and i can revert back whenever without any holes in the body. it doesn’t look bad either (i mean, i hate front plates period, but if ya gotta ya gotta)

anyway, the one I found is called The Platypus.

2026 M60, Dravit Grey. I have been tracking production and the trans-Atlantic trip for months. FINALLY!!

I’ve never owned a “luxury vehicle” before, and I inherited some money from my mom, so I replaced my 11 year old grand Cherokee (only owner) and figured I should load it up with everything I wanted.

it’s also my first electric vehicle, so I’m learning to tweak some long held driving habits (regenerative braking, and especially the B mode, is going to take some time for me to perfect).

I took my first drive into work this morning and tried out the DAPP. man, I thought adaptive cruise control was cool, this is another level!

I love this car so much. I’ve already gone down to our parking garage a couple of times to look at it😍

PS, I know it’s divisive, but I love the pig nose. In fact, while I’m not committing to a name until I learn its personality, I’m leaning heavily toward “Wilbur” 🙂

Does anyone know the reason(ing) behind this?

I just put down the deposit on a 2026 i4 M60. having it built out the way I want it which is … basically loaded.

will be my first electric car. I can’t wait for delivery!

I’ve always found the stretch from Presidents Day to Memorial Day brutal. Over three months without a holiday.

Well, we’re in the home stretch my fellow Feds! Just three more weeks until we’re out of the desert and into the almost monthly oases! phew
