Is this realistic/good idea?

ADU $1,500/month matching deposit, but said I could pay $300/month if need be until the deposit is paid off. I said I’d need a little time to get my funds in order like a couple months. I like to play it safe when I owe people money. He said he’d take $500 to hold it for a certain amount of time, sign the lease for the future date that I plan on moving it, and start paying rent then. He’s even lowered the price 3 times by $500 for me. I make around $3,600 a month a current commute an hour too and from work and this place is two minted away, so it would save me about $300/month in gas. I applied for an essay second job in the evenings after my fulltime job, just in case. The application is asking for 3 months pay stubs on top of 3 months account info? Like how much coming in be out? Is that normal? Thanks for any help.

How to save money to get out of this house?

I was never taught about finances, and there’s an ADU I was to rent that’s $1,500/month with a $1,500 deposit. I make about $3,600/month. This ADU was originally $2,000 with a matching deposit, but he’s lowered it a few times, and said he’d really like me as a tenant. I struggle with buying food a lot, because that’s how o feel better living in this house with my family that are narcissistic and emotionally abusive to me, so I’m very isolated in my room. Basically, if I have the money in my account, it needs to be spent on food and if it’s out of sight it’s out of mind. I told him I will save and once I save enough, I will check if it’s still available, but along with three months pay stubs they want to see what I’ve spent from all accounts in the last three months, so even if I have the money. Basically it’s like a vicious cycle. I’m coping being in this very toxic place by spending money, but want to leave so bad. Trust me, I want to, but then I think, I had a really hard day being emotionally abused. I’m not overweight from food at all either, it’s just maybe a sense of control, because I’ve done the reverse as well…how to I mentally survive without my coping strategy while trying to save and how do I save?

Am I the GC or Scapegoat?

During the last big fight that I wrote about here, my mom said that her therapist said that I’m a narcissist and she said I am the golden child between my sister and I, but I’ve never met her therapist, and my mom told me her therapist is better than mine. I’ve been so gaslight my whole life, especially since I e lived with the three of them for 33 years now, but if I ever ask someone to not roll there eyes at me, I get met with, we can’t walk on eggshells around you. When I was crying because I couldn’t open my eye my sister(25), called me dramatic so I drove myself to urgent care. She never asked if I was okay after I got home. She also drove me to the ER once because I had a grade 2 sprain and made me feel guilty because she had plans with her situationshio. She’s also stood me up at the gym and lied to me to hangout with a guy. My sister got her first car bought for her, parents helped pay for her college, but because I was homeschooled I didn’t know what loans were, so I was told I had to stay home and go to community college, when I told my mom I graduated after 12 years she looked at me and said she’s busy watching tv and my dad says congrats and just smiled when she says this. I uninvited my mom because of this, even my sister said that she would, but I know there will be a big family party if she graduates. My dad said that he knows I’m grey rocking him and that my therapist is wrong to make me not invite them. I didn’t text back anything, but my therapist actually advised against not inviting my mom, because it could ruin my day and make them mad, but I knew that pretending would ruin my day more. I said I could really use a new mattress because I’ve had this ripped foam mattress for 10 years and my back is hurting, they told me to use my sisters old one from college, but bought her all new furniture for no reason. My sister, mom and I were in the living room and she asks my sister to watch a movie with her and ignores me, so I just silently walk away. I then overhear my sister tell my mom she needs to invite me too, and then I get a text from my mom asking if I want to join and I just said no thanks. I can’t get my hair cut or try and look nice without guilt, because I know it upsets my mom if I look nice or achieve things. I can’t sense it. What is going on here. I finally got a decent job and I’m looking at places to move to, but the guilt of leaving is holding me back. Any time I told my parents I was moving out I couldn’t look my dad in the eyes, and he just met me with, hm how long have you been planning this…and when I do something like make dinner for myself or put my own license plate on my car he tells me that he’s really proud of me, and when I say that’s weird I’m just making pasta, he tells me I need to learn how to take a compliment, but I’m really good at taking compliments from other people. Also im 33 years old. I’m just venting and typing as things are coming up. I think that’s what my page is now, because I have to keep my feelings inside, otherwise, I will get verbally abused and get confused by them. Even my little sister acts like I’m the younger sister, despite being 8 years apart and whenever I try and act like an older sister or my age she gets mad. I also stay in my room all day and only come out to get food or a drink, but some days I wait until everyone is asleep. No one asks if I’m okay and it’s been a year of this. If they hurt me the next day they act like nothing is wrong and if I don’t comply I will be screamed at. If I ask her not to scream at me or get in my face I’m told I’m controlling. I don’t even know what I’m asking anymore

Toyota Corolla: Is this a good deal? Need help!

Is this a good deal despite the high mileage?

I previously had a 2004 Honda that I owned for about 10 years. It had only one previous owner and around 22,000 miles when I got it. A few years ago, it stopped starting, so my dad bought me a 2017 Honda HR-V, which he is still making payments on. However, the car and loan are entirely in his name.

I’m now trying to get out of a toxic situation, so I’d really like to have a vehicle that is completely in my own name. Having my own car would prevent me from having to rely on or remain in contact with people I’m trying to distance myself from.

I’m a little hesitant about the mileage on this particular car, though. Do you think it could still be a good deal? I’d also really appreciate any advice on what to look for when buying a used car, or if you come across any listings you think might be a good fit for me, please send them my way.

Thank you so much! Here is the listing: https://www.carsavenueinc.com/details/used-2006-toyota-corolla/129464174
