Can I claim against DIP for pothole damage to my car?

I hit a large pothole while driving in Dubai Investments Park. The tyre went flat immediately and the car has significant damage. My car is low to the ground so damage was bad.

I have dash cam footage of the incident. The pothole also appears to have been repaired previously, but the repair had failed.

I reported it to RTA, who contacted DIP, and the pothole was then fixed very quickly.

I have been trying to contact DIP about compensation, but they keep saying someone will call me back and nobody does.

Can I take DIP to court for the repair costs? Would the dash cam footage, failed previous repair and quick repair after the RTA complaint help show liability?

Has anyone dealt with a similar pothole damage claim in Dubai?

I’m a married woman with kids, and I’ve always been into women. This isn’t something new or something I didn’t get to explore. I’ve had plenty of experiences with women before and during my relationship.

I’ve been with my husband since I was young, and overall we’re in a good place. He knows I’m into women and has always been supportive. We’ve explored swinging before, but for me it’s never really been about other men, it’s always been women.

After having kids, my libido kind of disappeared for a while. But now that my body and hormones are settling back, I feel like that part of me has come back strong. The desire to be with a woman again is really noticeable.

It’s not about something missing in my marriage, it’s more like this is just a real part of who I am that’s resurfacing.

  1. Has anyone else experienced their sexuality (especially same-sex attraction) coming back strongly after kids?

  2. Or even navigated having a girlfriend while married to a man in a healthy way?
