I am a recent graduate in Mechanical engineering and I went to an interview 2 days back. I cleared the technical round and for the HR round I answered all the questions fairly, even the technical side related to the resume. Then I was rejected, I am not sure why. I can only think of 2 reasons, either the vacancy has already been filled or that I passed the exam required for post graduation admission here. He asked me why I am not going for PG and i said i wanted to work. Then he went on to advice me that its better to get a PG and he had done it while doing his job etc. DUDE I JUST WANT A FUCKING JOB. Neither can we afford it after just graduating from my bachelors and I think my chances of getting selected decreases if i was being honest about it. He keeps on advicing me for like 15mins. What a waste of time and money since it was a lot far away from where i live. Its frustrating that I am forced to lie to live in this economy when i absolutely hate lying. Its annoying that I have to give up my ethics so that i won't starve myself.

I dreamed of a friend yesterday and nothing much happened. Just held hands and went to a date. Just that made me on cloud 9. Then reality hit like a truck in the form of my ammamma calling me for breakfast. Couldn't even complete the date 😔. Now I think I have a crush on him. I feel stupid. I am preparing for prelims and one site suggested old ncert books. I thought those were the ones i had studied in my school time but then i came across really old textbooks which is boring and colorless. Is new ncert text enough to pass prelims?

The title. Nothing interesting, I know but I have always wanted to do AMA. I am pretty free to answer your questions. Also I was qualified for higher education in my country in tier 1 or 2 universities. But I missed the timeline. Now I am stuck at home with not even getting a call back for interviews. I had tried doing this in AMA subreddit but some mf snitched me. Now its deleted.
