L-115 vs. M-2010 ESR

Hey guys, I have a serious question about long‑range sniping. Since the new L‑115 arrived, I feel like I’ve never used a sniper rifle before — especially at long distances. Compared to the M2010 ESR, the L‑115 has massive bullet drop and low velocity, even with the better barrel. These factors make it worse in my opinion for long‑range fights with a 10x scope. And don’t forget, this rifle is supposed to be designed for extreme long‑range combat.

The M2010 feels much better even at very long range — the bullet drop is low, and the velocity is outstanding, even at distances where the L‑115 should be dominating.

So guys, what’s your experience with this? Please give me some pros for why I should pick it, because right now I don’t see a clear reason.

Thanks for your attention.

Why we haven’t Anti-Materiel Rifles ?

This is the NTW‑20 from South Africa and the Barrett M82. These rifles are very popular in modern armies, so why aren’t they in the game? It would be nice to have an alternative to the pioneer gear. What do you guys think about it?

Hey guys, you might hate me for saying this, but I think this gadget from COD would be great to have in our game too. From my point of view, the potential is huge. Let me know what you think.

How it works:

Attach: When thrown, the device snaps onto almost any surface — walls, ceilings, floors, or moving targets.

Pierce: After impact, an internal system activates and cuts through the obstacle.

Impact Burst: Once it breaks through, a secondary charge deploys on the far side, creating a short‑range area effect that hits everything nearby.

Thanks for your attention.

Season 3 (Warlords Supremacy) for Battlefield 6 launches on May 12, 2026!

The developers continue to focus on improving the core gameplay in Season 3, but are also delivering several content updates right at the start of the new season. We’ve compiled the information for you and will show you what to expect at launch and what you’ll have to wait for.

Available right from the start of Season 3: Day 1 Content DICE is wasting no time and is bringing some of the most requested features and content directly to the game on May 12.

  1. Gigantic new map: Railway to Golmud

The calls for large-scale, all-out warfare battles have been answered. With Railway to Golmud, DICE is releasing a remake of the Battlefield 4 classic, adapted to the modern standards of Battlefield 6.

Massive scale: The map is four times the size of Mirak Valley, making it the largest map in Battlefield 6 to date.

The rolling front line: A moving train serves as the central element, ensuring the front line constantly shifts as squads fight for control.

Portal availability: The map will be playable directly for verified experiences on the Battlefield Portal starting May 12 (the option for creating your own custom games, including train control, will follow later in the season).

  1. Ranked Battle Royale (Quads)

Those who enjoy competitive gameplay will get their fix on May 12th. The brand-new “Ranked Battle Royale” mode launches via Battlefield Labs, initially playable only in quads (4-player teams). Unlike previous solo tests, the ranked mode is planned as a permanent addition that will evolve over time.

  1. Key Gameplay and Combat Updates

The gunplay and overall gameplay experience will receive a noticeable upgrade right at the start of the season:

Weapon Handling & Recoil: Hitting targets at longer ranges will be more challenging. DICE is reducing the automatic recoil damping for controller players, among other things, to create a better balance between input devices.

Improved Hit Feedback: When you take or deal damage, the feedback will now be significantly faster and clearer.

Reworked Ping System: Pings now react faster (less input lag). Hazard and location pings now use the same format, with hazard pings being instantly recognizable by their red color. This drastically reduces visual clutter on the screen.

  1. Mortar Nerf Coming

DICE is taking drastic measures with the mortar to discourage static camping and encourage a more mobile “shoot and scoot” playstyle:

No more ammo regeneration while the mortar is actively deployed.

Accuracy is drastically reduced at long range.

  1. New Menu and Playlist Structure

Matchmaking and menu navigation are being streamlined. The previous “Featured” row is being replaced by a new “Quickplay” row that suggests suitable modes based on your play history. In addition, there’s now a dedicated area for Ranked Matches and a simplified multiplayer view without annoying horizontal scrolling. New players receive a special “Initiation” experience.

REDSEC: The Battle Royale Updates at Launch

The Battle Royale/REDSEC component of Battlefield 6 will also receive immediate improvements on May 12th, noticeably changing the pacing and balance:

Loot Fix at Launch: The annoying issue with delayed loot spawning after landing has finally been fixed!

Vehicle Nerfs: Transport helicopters will now have less health. All transport vehicles will be weakened in direct combat (especially against armored targets). Tanks are now easier to track at close range.

Improved Anti-Vehicle Loot: The “Box Truck” is now called the Explosive Ordnance Transporter and delivers stronger anti-vehicle equipment by default. The loot is automatically upgraded when a tank is nearby.

Drone Adjustments: The Recon Drone will have reduced zoom and a longer cooldown.

XP Progression: Missions now offer more consistent rewards, and the XP required for leveling up has been reduced overall.

What to Expect Later in Season 3 Not all new features will be available on May 12th. DICE has already provided a preview of the content and improvements that will be added as mid-season updates throughout Season 3:

Return of Solo Mode to REDSEC

There’s good news for solo players: Battle Royale Solos will return to Battlefield 6 later in Season 3. The development team is currently making targeted adjustments to improve pacing, the flow of the game at the start of a round, and overall fairness for solo players. More details will be shared shortly before the mode’s release.

New Infantry Map in Portal: Cairo Bazaar

While Railway to Golmud focuses on massive vehicle battles, DICE will cater to fans of intense close-quarters combat later in the season. Cairo Bazaar is a smaller map that concentrates on pure infantry gameplay with very limited vehicle use.

BF3 Classic: The map is heavily inspired by the popular Battlefield 3 map Grand Bazaar.

Availability: At launch, it will be available for verified Portal experiences in Battlefield 6. Later in the season, it will also be unlocked for custom experiences.

Expanded Portal Tools for Railway to Golmud

While the Railway to Golmud map will initially only be playable for verified experiences, Portal creators will gain full control later in the season. Community creators will then be able to create their own custom matches for the map and will have full control over the train: You can turn it on or off, determine its direction of travel, and even bind it to a capture point.

Visibility and Vehicle Improvements

The team continues to work on fundamental systems behind the scenes. An update to the soldier visibility filter will be rolled out during the season, which should help players better identify enemies in their vicinity.

In addition, extensive vehicle updates are planned, initially focusing on ground vehicles, particularly tanks. The controls will become more responsive, and combat feedback will be more consistent. DICE has announced that a separate, detailed developer blog post on this topic will be published soon.

Inofficial from battlefield labs. Hey guys, I found this — massive recoil increase in Season 3. What do you think about it?

Hey guys, I sometimes have problems placing my mines. I also can’t use them at certain moments — it feels totally random. Do you have the same issue?

Hey guys, I’m currently trying to get my Mini Scout to level 33 for the 10x scope. After five games in a row, my progress feels extremely slow. I’m getting kills and I’m definitely not the worst sniper, but in my opinion it takes way too long to max out a firearm. Without the booster it feels like there’s almost no real progress, which is pretty frustrating.

What’s your average game time, and how many weapons do you have at max level?

What do you guys think about the progression system?

Hello guys, we all know that the adrenaline injection is the weakest ability of all the classes. Most of the time it feels useless, and compared to the abilities of other classes, it really falls short in my opinion.

So I had an idea to replace it with a gadget called strip‑wire explosives. You might know it from the famous movie HEAT. It would come with two charges. One charge can blow up regular walls, and when combined with the ladder it could be very useful. It could also work as an anti‑tank option, but that would require using both charges.

What do you guys think about it? Share your thoughts 💭
