I wanted to share a very disappointing and frustrating experience I had at Le Blanc Dental in Gangnam so others can avoid the same headache.

We paid upfront for their advertised 1-day no-prep veneers + whitening package. The procedure was stopped midway and no veneers were ever placed — only whitening was done.

They will shave your teeth do not believe polish only

When we asked for a refund for the services that were never rendered, the staff and managers became extremely difficult. They gave multiple different excuses and flat-out refused to refund the unused portion. They also refused to provide basic medical records when we requested them.

The whole situation felt extremely unprofessional and shady — especially the way they handled (or rather, refused to handle) the refund even though the main service wasn’t completed. When we tried to confront them about it, the atmosphere turned tense and intimidating.

I strongly recommend staying away or at least getting everything in writing and being prepared for potential refund issues. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this clinic?

Korea’s Medical Service Act (의료법) Article 56 strictly prohibits medical institutions from running advertisements that are false, exaggerated, or likely to mislead consumers (e.g., claiming “no-prep / minimal 0.01–0.02 mm polishing” while doing much more, or claiming the same lab as Minish when it’s not true).

When we asked for a refund for the services that were never rendered, the staff and managers became extremely hostile and rude. They gave multiple different excuses and refused to refund the unused portion. They also refused to provide basic medical records when requested, even though this goes against Article 21 of the Korean Medical Service Act (patient right to access their own records).

The whole situation felt extremely unprofessional and shady — especially how aggressively they refused to handle the refund when the main service wasn’t completed. When we tried to confront them, the atmosphere turned very tense and intimidating.

I strongly recommend staying away from this clinic or at least getting everything in writing upfront and being prepared for potential major refund problems. Has anyone else had similar experiences here?
