what’s your go to for vitamin C? Anything comparable to Poems From The Lab?

I was most interested in trying Poems From The Lab that was recommended by Lab Muffin but I wasn’t able to order it to where I am currently living. I like the container it comes in, really appreciate Michele’s thoughts on this sort of thing and not gonna lie, love the branding - it’s definitely expensive but not the most expensive i’ve seen. Thoughts? 🌱

Easyjet backpack 50cm tall -should I not bother trying?

I have a backpack that i’ve flown with many times as a complimentary personal item but when i read the size requirements it’s too tall for easyjet (max 45cm for the small under the seat bags and my bag is 50cm) and because it’s an osprey framed backpack it does not squish. Should i not bother trying? I’ll be flying out of london to berlin

Just arrived at a place in Hastings UK and am looking for some kind of sun aftercare. Initially was just trying to find some aloe vera gel but couldn’t locate that without something with a ton of other ingredients (granted by the time I was looking it was late at night). What’s something that’s unlikely to cause a reaction that i might be able to find in a smallish UK city like Hastings? There is a large Boots and Superdrug and of course Holland and Barrett and some niche health food places and probably a lot of other spots I haven’t explored.

Confession time: the victorian goth/vampire in me loves a little white cast but I don’t love most physical sunscreen and I haven’t found a way to wear makeup that doesn’t bother me. I really liked the look of the axis-y “ complete no stress, physical sunscreen” once it dries down to a nice matte pallor but I didn’t like their choice to pretend it was not a combo (physically and chemical) and their choice of chemical active since i’d rather use chemical actives that are (in my limited understating) formally tested and regulated to work as a chemical active.

I have geek and gorgeous sunscreen in the mail and i’m so excited for it tho I also wish there was a version with a little white cast for when I was wanting to dress up in historical clothing or just be a little more gothy. Maybe there is a foundation or powder that would wear nicely over it without caking or destroying the matte skin look i’ve been hearing folks talk about being possible with the G&G sunscreen?

My partner wants to wear sunscreen, has sensitive skin, and has experienced eye sting in the past from chemical sunscreens. They are very pale and don't mind if the sunscreen is physical/has a white cast. Additionally, they are hoping for sunscreen that feels like skin once dry. Because of their sensitivity, I have assumed a physical sunscreen might be the best option tho I know the newer chemical filters are supposed to be more friendly for sensitive skin.

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Please tell me what your favorite non-shiny, non-greasy sunscreen is. No "dew" please. I have been searching for days, mostly trying to look for something that says it's "matte" but essentially I want my skin to just feel like skin when it's dry. Some that I am considering but haven't been able to try yet:

Sébionex Mattifying Sunscreen Gel SPF50+ 40ml

Ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 50 Mattifying (buckle up because she's expensive)

Thank you in advance for helping me ❤️
