Hi, i'm new on Obsidian and I'm looking for suggests on plugins, etc. that I can use on Obsidian for improve my research.

I'm historical academic research and i'm writing a book about library science contemporary history. I'm using Zotero for collect, organize, read and highlighted books and papers and, previous, for annotate.

I (will) want use Obsidian for taking notes of analysis about papers and books that I've read on Zotero. In Obsidian, I (will) write my book and my articles with indentation, Table of Contents, etc.

I've read that plugin Longform is good for organize chapter, sections, etc., for create TOC and for compile final document. It is really good for historical academic researcher?

I use plugins as Pandoc, Zotero integration and Nextcloud Sync. There are any other good/important plugins?

I purchased a Boox Tab Ultra C and I use it to read in bed at night, mostly with the red light turned on. Unfortunately, I’m noticing that after spending the whole day in front of a computer, reading on the Boox gives me eye strain. I really don't want to resell the Boox. Is there anyone who has dealt with similar issues and managed to find a solution?

I'm looking for a good (and cheap) pen for taking notes with Boox Tab Ultra C.

I have bought Tab Ultra C (not pro) (used for 200€...). What's news about firmware and Android OS? There have been updates about firmware or OS in these years?

I would to buy a ereader for read epub and pdf (academic books and paper, comics, novels) on night on the bed.

I have set Bigme B7 at 150€ and I don't know if it is a good ereader for this.

I would like a lightweight one (10 inches is too heavy), with Android, smooth performance, and I don't want to spend too much.

Is it possible integrate a workflow between Zotero and Kobo? I utilize annotation and tags... Is there a way to tag Kobo notes and then sync them with Zotero (on the desktop)?

Sto vedendo vari ereader ma non so proprio come orientarmi...

In passato ho avuto un boox note 7 che volevo utilizzare per studiare all'università ma l'ho venduto e sostituito con un Surface (il boox era troppo lento per me).

Oggi invece sto cercando un e-reader che mi permetta di leggere .epub e .pdf, principalmente saggistica e fumetti e, in alcuni casi, di dimensioni notevoli (anche 400-500 MB), mentre sono a letto prima di addormentarmi, con una buona resa dei colori e senza troppi lag/refresh.

Quando avevo il Boox ho notato che non mi era utile nessuna delle funzioni "android" (dal navigare online allo scaricare le app al prendere appunti). L'unica cosa è che mi piacerebbe mantenere un accesso a OneDrive e a Zotero, ma non so quanto possano essermi utili in fondo.

Ho visto che il Kobo Libra Colour ha una resa dei colori migliore del BigMe B7, del Boox Go 7 e del Pocket Book. Dal vivo ho visto il Kindle Colorsoft che sembra buono in quanto a colori per i fumetti, ma non saprai confrontato con gli altri.

Qualcuno ha suggerimenti?
