Cast vs laced wheels. What’s the difference for utility, performance, fuel efficiency, robustness and maintenance?

There’s an optional add on at about 1k dollars for thinner laced instead of cast for the wheels. Personally I think the cats looks cooler, and happen to be cheaper. But does the laced have any advantage as it’s more expensive and is the default for the kitted limited version.

Does anyone have any numbers on measured difference? Any fuel efficiency for longer travel per tank, is one better for suspension for more comfortable travel.

And most importantly for me. Long term, which is more robust, requires less maintenance and is stronger after accidents, falls and when things go wrong after hard use for decades etc.

I loved the world building, grim atmosphere and characters of BL1. Wished they never went for cartoon artstyle or at least keep it more grounded like in 1 instead of the direction later games went

Felt like lightning in a bottle how they did such a great sci-fi mad max world. But later games seemed to target children more, where fist game hinted at sad brutality. Artstyle was a bit innovative at first, but it seems to have changed the vision for later games. Compared to the first were it was added at the end of production

Is it too late?

What lecture can I find this clip in full?

Link

https://youtu.be/sJeH0mqF4eY?is=J1XyjyrF0VQoQC15

Got this stitched video up in my feed. Seem to be 3 different videos together. He says this at the third clip

15:41
If you look at it technically and we
15:42
will as we progress through this class
15:44
that in order to have any positive
15:45
meaning in your life, you have to have
15:48
identified a goal and you have to be
15:50
working towards it. And there is a
15:52
technical reason for that. And the
15:53
technical reason as far as I can tell is
15:55
that the circuitry that produces the
15:57
kind of positive emotion that people
15:59
really like is only activated when you
16:02
notice that you're when you're
16:05
proceeding towards a goal that you
16:07
value.
16:08
And so that means that if you don't have
16:10
a goal that you value, you can't have
16:11
any positive emotion. So technically
16:13
that's the incentive reward system and

16:15
it's the underlying circuitry is
16:17
dopamineergic. And when that circuitry
16:19
is activated then it's part of the
16:21
exploratory circuit. It makes you it
16:23
gives you the sense of being actively
16:25
engaged in something worthwhile. And
16:28
that's you know you tend to think of
How to Start Embracing Your Alone Time
16:30
positive emotion as something produced
16:31
by reward. But there's two kinds of
16:34
positive emotion. One is the reward
16:35
that's associated with satiation. And
16:38
that's consummatory reward. And that's
16:39
the reward you get when you're hungry
16:41
and you eat. But the thing about eating
16:43
when you're hungry is that it destroys
16:46
the framework within which you were
16:47
operating. Right? It's time to eat.
16:49
Well, you eat and then that framework's
16:51
no longer relevant. So the consummatory
16:53
reward eliminates the value framework
16:55
and then you're stuck with, well, what
16:56
are you going to do next? And so the
16:59
consummatory reward has with it its own
17:01
problems. But the incentive reward is
17:03
constantly what keeps you moving
17:04
forward. and incentive reward because
17:07
it's dopamineergic also is analesic
17:10
literally analgesic. So if you're in
17:12
pain, you take opiates and that that
17:14
will cut the pain, but so will psychoot
17:16
stimulants like cocaine or empetamines.
17:19
And so it's literally the case that if
17:22
you're engaged in something that's
17:23
engaging and you're working towards a
17:25
goal that you're going to feel less
17:26
pain. And you can see this happening
17:28
with athletes who, you know, they'll
17:30
break their thumb or something or maybe
17:31
sometimes even their ankle and they'll
17:32
keep playing the game. Of course,
17:34
afterwards they're suffering like mad,
17:36
but the fact that they're so filled with
17:38
goal directed enthusiasm means that well
17:42
the pain systems are in some sense shut

What’s the difference between the new 2026 version and older like 2023 or 2021? Not too clear on the internet or when asking gpt

Wondering how consequential it is which version you get. Certain functions might matter to me

How would you recommend making a 2 up passenger long trip more comfortable, can you fit side aluminum storage? For top box, what’s the best back rest pad?

For a camping trip, two people driving, what kit would you recommend? I see the official store sells aluminum top case and a passenger backrest pad, do you recommend that pad for long trips? If you add the side aluminum storage, will her legs have space too?

Any other official or aftermarket parts you would recommend for outdoor camping? Bringing good chunk of items for longer stays, holidays, week in the forrest and trips between countries?

Do people think George Merkert was corrupted and in on it with Gustavo Fring?

I felt the show always hinted at it with his body language. Gus could feed Merkert about specific competitors (that Gus didn’t want to handle himself) to climb and donate money to his organisation to hire more people and have a higher salary as a DEA manager. Something will always go wrong at this scale, but didn’t happen much if it weren’t for Walt. The size Gus is working at, it would almost seem strange not to have a few people on his side of the law. We know he can long term plant people to run smooth.

During the interrogation scene they invite Gus too early during an active investigation. The second Hank starts asking harder unprepared questions, then Merkert immediately moves to close just after 4 minutes of interview.

When Hank presents his working theory on how Gus runs a lab with a filter set, Merkert quickly shuts it down before asking any questions. I assume they respected Hank more than to immediately dismiss him, at least out of courtesy after all these years. They know how Hank works, thorough detail oriented, knowing more than he lets on.

Merkert would try multiple times to get Hank over to other tasks or promote him to move and work elsewhere.

The second Gus is out, Merkert doesn’t try to defend himself or wish to stay, but rather close it as fast as possible. Moving to other pastures.

Just seem a bit too intentional. I assume the writers like opening up for these speculations. At the least they chose to keep it a bit ambiguous, when they could have written him more as a scapegoat to feel bad about. The writers liked making openings they could choose to revisit later.
