Made golgappas today and accidentally unlocked a second recipe

I made golgappas at home today and did all the prep myself, from the aloo stuffing to getting everything ready. It took forever, but they turned out so damn tasty that I was lowkey feeling like a MasterChef contestant waiting for the judges to praise me.

The golgappa water got finished first (clearly I underestimated how much I'd drink), but I still had a few puris and some stuffing left. Couldn't let them go to waste, so I grabbed some dahi, added the leftover aloo, chutneys, and made dahi puri instead. I wasn't even planning to make it, but it ended up tasting amazing too. Somehow managed to make two chaat dishes from one batch, and I'm honestly way too proud of myself for it.

So today's chef's kiss was from me, to me!🤌✨

My first attempt at shaping jalebis and they actually look like jalebis😭🤌

My mom made the jalebis today, but she let me do the shaping part. It was my first time ever trying to make them, and honestly, I thought I'd end up making random squiggly lines in the oil.

Somehow, they actually turned out looking like proper jalebis and I'm weirdly proud of myself🌸

I know they're far from perfect, but I'm genuinely so happy with how they turned out. Didn't expect my first try to actually look like jalebis😭

Spider-Man, but make it handcrafted

I craft occasionally when I randomly get hit with motivation, and this time I decided to make Spider-Man, but handcrafted.

This took me around 5-6 hours because every single tiny red strip had to be cut, rolled, and placed one by one. I made the spider web background using whitener, which honestly turned out way better than I expected.

The whole process felt weirdly satisfying and calming.

Lowkey felt like I’d never finish this because every tiny detail was taking so much time, but somehow trusted the process, kept going, and finally finished it in 5-6 hours.

Did I cook with this one?
