As the title suggests do not buy any course from them.

Recently I had been seeing a lot of adds for the Java and SpringBoot Backend Track combo course package from this site called allcsnotes.com. I went through what topics are covered and it looked like everything from basics to advanced along with SpringBoot was covered with a capstone project at the end. And since there was a discount, I thought let me buy it since I was learning Java anyway and was done with Mooc.fi. I wanted a structured course similar to this so it was like all perfect. But once I got the course and started going through it, the way they have explained the concepts is very bad. No clear explanation of what Java is, what is JDK, JVM etc. I went through other topics as well and same issue. No clear explanation. Only the website looks nice. And top of it ,within 30 mins I knew this course was bad and wanted a refund, guess what they dont provide refunds.

I know it was my fault for not reading the refund policy, so I made this post so that anyone else planning to buy their course can be warned.

Hello everyone,

I am working in a service based company. I was released from my project and my 45 days bench period is coming to an end with no internal opportunities . I just got a call stating the same and asking if I want to continue 90 days transition period without pay but associated with the company or voluntarily resign.

Please help me with how to proceed. This is my first company and I made a mistake of staying in it for 5 years. And if I do take the 90-days transition period without pay how do I explain to the ₹0 salary in my pay slip?

Please if anyone has gone through this please let me know what you did and how did you proceed?

I am a working professional with 5yoe in total out of which 2.5 was in consulting and later 2.5 as Backend Engineer using Java.

Recently my project ended and I am trying for other opportunities but I just realised that the work I was doing and the concepts we used in my recent project for Java was just core Java and I do not have the knowledge which is expected by employers in current market. All my colleagues are giving me a lot of topics I will have to learn to upskill myself. But I wanted to know few recommendations/resources that actually helped any of you to learn more advanced topics about Java and Spring boot.

These are the current topics I was told I need to learn. Please suggest your best resources that has helped you, it maybe free or paid. I have already completed the Helsinki Java MOOC Course that helped me strengthen my fundamentals but I need something beyond that and something that is structured please. I just came to know that if anything is not in order I am not able to concentrate on the learning. Thanks in advanced.

We own a house in a good locality in Bangalore, but our street I would say is not very educated or rather I would say not decent. And that is fine. We have no problem with this, but the issue that arises is the way the immediate neighbours like the ones on the right, left and one of the tenants in the house in front of our house has decided that since our family is soft spoken, we are a good target to be bullied by them.
Few instances:

1. They keep their empty boxes, pipes and few wooden planks on our grid. We remove them and again the next morning they have back up. But we can’t keep anything on the shared wall for even a minute.
2. They throw garbage in front of our house like empty chips packets, bottles etc and it’s my mom and I who clean it up.

These people act like it’s their road and since we don’t like fighting, raising our voices they are taking this as an advantage and screaming at the top of their lungs on the road.

Please help how to deal with this. My mom’s health is getting worse, I am a female and my dad is also quite old. And all these people always gang up when ever someone comes to fight with us even when we are talking politely and being civil.

We can’t even sell the house as we have few commitments and depend on the rental income.

Edit: I would also like to add that when ever anyone parks near our house we don’t say anything at all. But these people park it there without moving it for a day or two. Once even one week they parked it there. It caused a lot of problems for us in terms of cleaning the trash they threw on the road that settles in front our house and also for our tenants. But if it was reverse, if we park there for 5 mins just to collect something and then move they don’t listen and will start fighting.
