Is Peacock mostly a seasonal subscription for you?

I keep going back and forth on Peacock. There are specific sports events and shows that make it useful, but I’m not sure it belongs in my permanent monthly stack.

And for people who cancel and return, do you plan around specific events or just wait until your watchlist gets big enough?

My partner gave me an ultimatum to quit my glp-1 because she thinks it is lazy and will not find me attractive if i lose more weight

I finally got prescribed Zepbound after struggling with my weight my entire life, even having a failed gastric sleeve surgery years ago. My girlfriend has been completely against it from the start, calling it lazy, saying she won't find me attractive if I lose too much weight, and claiming I just need to work out more. Things blew up on a recent group vacation when my dose increase caused severe nausea, making it hard for me to eat or drink. Instead of being supportive, she got furious at every meal, claimed I ruined her entire trip, and argued with me daily because I wasn't partying the way she wanted.

Since getting back, she has thrown multiple ultimatums at me, stating she cannot date someone who doesn't eat normally and hinting that our relationship is over if she doesn't like how I eat on our next trip. I feel entirely unsupported and uncared for by someone who seems to value her vacation vibe over my long-term health. It has made me realize that if I ever faced a serious medical issue or accident, she would probably just walk away. I am seriously considering canceling our next trip and ending the relationship right now.

the first sound of the day sets my sensory baseline more than i realized

i used to think my mornings were hard only because i was tired. now i think part of it was sensory. the first thing my body experienced every day was a sudden alarm sound. not even a dramatic one, just the normal iphone alarm. but the onset was sharp enough that my whole system seemed to come online already braced.

lights felt brighter, little sounds felt louder, and normal morning interaction felt like too much before anything had even happened. i know some people do really well with sunrise lamps, Philips Hue scenes, weighted blankets, etc. for me the bigger issue was the sound itself.

i changed a few small things: phone farther from the bed, no messages for the first 10 minutes, dimmer light, and a fade-in alarm. the one i’ve been using is Wonderwake on my iphone, mostly because it starts quietly instead of arriving all at once. if light is the bigger trigger for someone else, a sunrise alarm probably makes more sense.

i don’t think that one change explains everything, but it made me notice how much the first input of the day matters. curious if other hsp people notice this too. does the way you wake up affect your sensory baseline for the rest of the morning?

The lake wasn't even the best part

Went out to shoot a lake from above, figured a quick top-down pass and done. Got the shot but kept climbing instead of landing, and the whole valley opened up behind it with peaks and low clouds. The part I almost skipped ended up being the best part of the clip.

No route planned, just kept pulling it higher whenever something new showed up in the frame. The Avata360 is pretty forgiving for that kind of flying.

Raw footage, no grading, no speed ramps.

I accidentally injected my Mounjaro into a stretch mark. Did I just waste my whole dose?

I'm on 7.5mg and I wasn't paying attention this morning. Injected right into a stretch mark on my stomach. Now I'm spiraling. Does scar tissue absorb differently? Is the medication just sitting there? I've heard insulin users avoid stretch marks because absorption is inconsistent. Same thing for GLP-1s? Should I be mapping out my injection sites like a dart board? Anyone else done this? Did your dose still work or should I prepare for a week of hunger?
