I want to take admission to UoH (University of Hyderabad) next year. I want to know about the cutoff and which CUET subjects they consider for the B.Sc.–M.Sc. Biology course.
I want to take admission to UoH (University of Hyderabad) next year. I want to know about the cutoff and which CUET subjects they consider for the B.Sc.–M.Sc. Biology course.
I want to pursue a B.Sc. in Biotechnology . I had been thinking about taking a drop and applying next year, but I'm really confused about the admission process. I don't clearly understand whether admissions are based on CUET or separate entrance exams, which subjects are considered for admission, or how the cutoffs work. If the available options aren't good, could you also suggest some good colleges for B.Sc. Biotechnology?

I just finished 12th grade, and honestly, I feel lost. I filled out so many college applications and ended up wasting my parents' money. I even moved from Bihar to Delhi and spent two years in coaching without knowing what I actually wanted to do.
After 10th, I had no guidance. I kept changing my mind about my career and finally chose Biology because I liked it. I joined NEET coaching, but within a month I realized it wasn't for me. The fees were already paid, so I kept going for some time. Eventually, a lot happened, and I slowly stopped attending.
Later, I thought I'd do B.Sc. Biotechnology. I was interested in Forensic Science too, but everyone said it had no scope, and I learned about its admissions much later.
Then counseling for different colleges started one after another. DU came first—I even added B.Com at the last moment and got it, but it wasn't something I wanted, so I didn't take it. Then AU, then other colleges... one by one, I kept getting disappointed.
Now my last hope is GGU Chhattisgarh. I was confident about it because of what I saw online, but later I found the real cutoff and realized those websites were misleading. Still, it's my only hope. If that doesn't work out, I'll have no option except taking a drop.
Only people who've been through this will understand. Staying at home after 12th feels next to impossible, especially after living away from home for two years. Everyone keeps asking, "When are you going to college?" "What are you going to do?" Until now, I kept saying, "There's still time for admissions." But now... I don't even know what to say.
And that's not even the worst part. I can deal with my own disappointment, but seeing how much disappointment my parents have had to face because of me hurts in a way I can't even explain.
