Looking for ideas and places to get hens party signs in Perth

Hi everyone, I’m helping organise a hens party in Perth and we’re trying to sort out the little details now, especially hens party signs for the day.

We’re thinking of getting a few things made, like:

  • a welcome sign
  • a photo backdrop sign

The hens will be around Perth, so bonus points if the signs are easy to pick up locally or can be delivered without costing a fortune.

Online options are also welcome, so any Australian-based online stores that ship to Perth would be great to hear about. Would love any recommendations, photos, rough pricing, or things you’d avoid. Thanks!

Socks for long desk days with smart-casual office outfits?

Hey everyone, I’m based in Sydney and work as a Python developer, so most of my workday is spent sitting at a desk. I usually wear regular socks with chinos, trousers, or casual office shoes, but after a full day they sometimes feel uncomfortable around the ankles.

For those working desk jobs, what socks do you usually wear with smart-casual office outfits?

Do you stick with regular crew socks, longer dress socks, bamboo socks, or knee-high compression socks for long workdays?

Not chasing medical advice, I’m mainly interested in comfort, fit, and what looks normal in an Australian office setting.

Knee high compression socks for long work days?

Hey everyone, I’m after a bit of advice. I’m on my feet most of the day for work, and regular socks have started feeling really uncomfortable by the end of a shift. My legs feel heavy, my ankles feel a bit swollen, and I’m trying to find something more practical for daily wear.

Has anyone here tried knee high compression socks for long work days in Australia? Did they actually help with comfort, or were they too tight or annoying after a few hours?

I’m looking for something that feels comfortable, works with everyday outfits, and is suitable for warmer weather too. Would appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences.

Best fragrance options for hot tubs in Edmonton, Canada?

I’m looking for a good fragrance to use in my hot tub, but I want something safe for the water, filter, and pump system. I’ve seen spa crystals, aromatherapy liquids, and scented salts, but I’m not sure which ones are actually made for hot tubs.

Has anyone in Edmonton used hot tub-safe fragrances before? Any product type, scent, or local store recommendations that won’t cause foam, residue, or water balance issues?

Hi all, I have two kids, 8 and 10, sharing a small room in Belfast. The room is getting too cramped with beds, school bags, clothes, and toys everywhere.

I’m thinking of getting a double bunk bed to free up floor space and make the room easier to keep tidy. Has anyone here bought one for kids around this age? Any local shop or brand you’d recommend?

Looking for advice on small-load haulage in the UK

I need to move a sofa, desk, and a few boxes across the UK, but I’m finding small-load haulage options surprisingly inconsistent.

Some quotes are much higher than expected, while others are vague about collection and delivery times or stop replying.

Is this normal for smaller haulage/LTL-style jobs in the UK, and what should someone look for to avoid unreliable providers?

Hey YEG! As spring kicks in, I’m trying to get my patio ready. Looking for recommendations for places in Edmonton where I can find durable furniture that’ll handle our crazy weather. Any tips from locals who’ve found furniture that holds up through rain and wind?

Hi all, Parent of two kids (both under 10) here, they’ve recently started sharing a room, so I’m looking into getting a bunk bed.

I’m based in Dublin and just want something safe, sturdy, and space-saving. For those who’ve gone through this, would you recommend solid wood or ones with storage/convertible options? Anything you wish you knew before buying?

Hey girls, I’m currently trying to make the most out of my tiny London bedroom (rent is wild so space is basically non-existent). I’m thinking about getting a high sleeper bed so I can fit a desk or some storage underneath, but I’m not sure if it’s actually practical day to day.

I’d love to know if anyone here has one in their space and how it feels to live with, especially if it still feels cosy and not too cramped. I’m also a bit worried about whether they feel sturdy enough and if climbing up and down gets annoying over time.

Any advice or experiences would really help before I commit to it.

Hi all, I run a small food/drink business and need to shift bulk stock from Liverpool to London every so often.

Is using a haulage firm a bit over the top at this stage, or is that pretty normal for small businesses? What do people usually go with: couriers, pallet networks, or hiring a van?

I work in healthcare and I’m on my feet most of the day. Someone recommended knee high compression socks to help with fatigue and soreness.

For those in Australia using them, do they genuinely help or is it just hype?
