Grass

I’m watching Brazil-Norway at MetLife, and on the TV the grass looks SPECTACULAR (better than some of the other surfaces I’ve seen). I know there’s irrigation, but it has been a dry summer to date. They’ve been playing games more than an average of once a week, which is the rate at which our two teams combined play at home. I also don’t see Philly and Pittsburgh having any issues with concerts, and by the way both of those teams share with college teams.

So what’s the real reason why we can’t have grass for our games, Woody and Mara?

Good Bars for Game 2?

Looking at spots in Midtown West/Nomad/Chelsea for tomorrow night. Looks like I’m largely out of luck on reservations. Any solid spots for the game that I won’t be in danger of getting shut out of?

Also open to other parts of Manhattan.

(For the record I know every place will be crowded and that I should show up at least an hour early, I’m just looking for a place where I know I won’t be waiting on a line for half of the game)

Defer NYC Marathon?

Can people who got in through the 9+1 still be able to defer their entry til 2027?

I got in via 9+1 for this year. However I am also studying for the LSAT while holding a full time job. It’s occurred to me that I am asking too much of myself, and I should put my career goals first.

EDIT: thank you all for the suggestions. For the record, I am merely asking about this as a contingency in the event that I need to take a step back from something. I have lofty aspirations for a top law school yet am a terrible test taker, hence why I am stressing out. I’m more concerned for having the time once I get to those high-mileage training blocks.
