A help desk attendant was so nice and patient that I cried actual tears afterwards

Everytime I need to talk with someone in these types of jobs where I need help I’m always on edge cuz of the terrible experiences so far. To some extent I don’t blame them. I remember tho from Doha airport specifically people were horrible, when I was trying to sort out a missed connecting flight due to extensive delays. They would snort, roll eyes, and just be outwardly childish, and I was surprised that it was just the general attitude throughout the workers there instead of just one. I think I spent five hours waiting in lines and getting bounced around.

Since I was so young, the financial concerns and the stress hanging above my head was just so bad and it felt really scary to be stuck in a place where ppl that could help pretended like they wouldn’t do what they could. But this attendant in Atlanta airport was so nice and understanding. It was nothing really, she just took her time and sorted everything out patiently, and listened to further concerns which I kinda feel others wouldn’t.

Anyways, ig kindness and professional competence goes a long way. I won’t judge someone for not being able to show that when I come across them, but it does feel too nice.

Where are these words coming from?

I see sonion and brotolinus in some other subreddits where high schoolers lurk such as AP students and college results. Are they nonsensical in the same way 67 is, or are they based on some sort of meaning? I found these words funny tbh and I like flabberghasting my siblings so I wanna use them.

Memes that are about a good student getting burnt out but no one believes they’ll actually do bad?

Literally gonna fail two tests, maybe three, (ik cuz i already gave them) cuz i simply didnt study properly, or at all, and all my friends keep saying i‘ll do well anyways and i’m just being those ppl that cry after getting 90%. They keep sending me memes about smart ppl being annoying. I wanna send some things back that say whats actually up with me but keeping it light cuz we’re not close enough for deeper conversations. This last month has been the only I’ve ever said I’m not doing well. I never talked about my grades much ever, good or bad.

Here are some examples of what I’m getting spammed with: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXE2c-QDm9X/?igsh=MWZubjlvNm5nbDB2dg==

I'm an actual idiot

I took bc, but I hadn't intended to use the credit for calc II even if i got it in college because I wasn't confident that I'd do well in future classes if I skipped that far ahead, since I'm just bad at math and hate it in general. However, I recently found out that calc II is basically a weed out course and you don't end up needing it much anyways. Friggin hell, I didn't end up self studying for BC, and now I'm gonna have to fight to not kill my gpa with calc II in college for no reason. Moral of the story: DO IT JUST IN CASE EVEN IF YOU THINK IT WON'T AFFECT YOU.

is it possible to cram calc bc units 9 and 10 in one day

lol it's so over. our school has ab and bc together in one class and the teacher taught ab only and I just never self studied, my bad.

also do you need to pass bc to get a usable ab subscore

what are classes that are known to be weed out classes?

I’m going on the premed track so I want to be wary of classes that might kill my gpa. I’ve heard calc II can be difficult. what other ones are there?

(I’m doing biological engineering so there will be some stem classes as well)
