EVERYONE should stop using slurs.

Am I the only person that thinks no one should use slurs, even if it's for "reclamation?" All it does is remind people of bad blood, and it perpetuates the usage of it because people won't forget it. For example, the n-word. People still use that in a negative connotation because it was based in it, and that won't ever change it. Words like "dumb" are still technically slurs, but they've been normalized so much that everyone just uses them, while some portions of the mute community dislike the use of it. It's the same thing with the n-word, everybody's starting to use it, as well as the r-word (the one used for people who have mental disabilities).

So it's two things:

A. Either Nobody should use it and it gets buried

B. Everybody uses it, and it becomes normalized so nobody cares if you use it.

Deep Dissection of This Message (read body paragraph)

  • "Puppet moveset is nearly complete scripting-wise, final stages now!"

This means that the Puppet was NOT ready on the 30th of May, indicating that they were already behind schedule. This is heavily disappointing, and shows the lack of preparation they had.

  • Map is nearly complete

  • Bunch of new skins completed, objectives completed, almost everything else is complete

Objectives, skins, everything else is almost complete? I assume they have different developers doing different things, and that certain types of development (e.g. vfx, scripting) are done, and are not affected by the developers working on maintenance. If not, this game is screwed.

  • Testing phase should start soon (sadly, will still have to remain in maintenance because as I've said, the maintenance is completely separate to the update)

This makes sense. Maintenance was likely caused by Roblox's bug, where ragdolls became broken. Due to how the game has R15, as well as different proportions for each animatronic, it is reasonable to assume Roblox's change to ragdolls caused this.

  • "Maintenance progress has kind of stalled the past 3 ish days but we're back on track now and progressing more and more. Again, you all have every right to be frustrated at the lack of communication regarding the reason for the maintenance and that we haven't been able to disclose a time the game reopens..."

Why did the stall happen? Yet again, lack of communication. Anything could've been said. "A developer got sick," "We found a game breaking bug," et cetera. It's just excuses on top of excuses, and still a lack of communication.

  • "Further, a Talent Show stage may be hosted relatively soon alongside other events hosted by myself and the teams. We may also be doing a Q&A live on a stage relatively soon. The purpose of these events is to uphold community engagement and keep interacting with you guys whilst we keep working on the maintenance and update simultaneously."

The last sentence is a complete lie. The only reason they are likely interacting with the community is to prevent backlash and have an attempt to save face.

What are some theories you think aren't true, either due to lack of evidence, or in your opinion not making sense, but wish to be true?

I personally like GlamMike and GoldenTrio, for they are quite humorous and intriguing.
