Hi all. I was planning for a trip to Europe in first week of October. I was looking at flight prices and one stop flights from Bangalore to Vienna/Prague/Budapest is 60K round trip pp.
I saw some posts here on Reddit wherein people found flight deals to these places last year from Oct-Dec for as low as 15k one side.
While I don't expect such crazy prices right now, I am wanting to understand whether this 60k price is okay or slightly inflated because of the war and oil crisis? I want to know what usually is the price for this route in the month of October?
If usually this costed let's say, 40k round trip, then I'd have to re consider.
Please help!
Hi, I am planning for a trip to Europe in the 1st week of October. I was looking at flights from Bangalore to Vienna/Prague/Budapest and all connecting flights were around 60k round trip for 1 person. Didn't check out direct flights since that's completely out of my budget.
I want to understand from fellow travellers whether this pricing is okay and usual for this route and this time or if it is highly/slightly inflated? I saw some posts here of last year September/October wherein flights were as low as 12k one side.
While I don't expect such crazy low prices, I just want to understand whether due to the war and oil crisis, these prices are inflated? Or is this how much it usually is?
Has anyone travelled this route during October in the last few years or during peak season this year and paid this much?
I was thinking if prices are in fact usually less than this and this time this year, the prices are high, I'll maybe wait till next year and go in March/April.
Please help!
