Madge doesn’t receive adoration from the gp at the magnitude MJ does. And I will admit it’s gratifying to witness the masses sympathising with your fave. When people start to understand a historically vilified figure they become more engaged with their work and actually care to dissect their art with intent. Madonna isn’t a character people tend to emotionally connect with - not in the way children to the elderly resonate with Michael- so her work isn’t celebrated to the same extent. - And of course Michael’s hard work is the main factor behind his success- In turn her fans have to resort to “endings” and “gags” to maintain her status and relevancy. They desperately attempt to convince the world that MJ’s success is a result of the patriarchy. They use all the buzzwords Gen Z facilitate so she can get sympathy streams and overtake Michael but to no avail. Old forums and fan sites has shown that they’ve been doing this gimmick since her debut and it still hasn’t worked. I really admire their persistence. Btw the ratio was 9:5 likes, that’s what sustains them😭😭

I personally don't see videos from guilters for some reason I have only found out about it through other fans. Since this is a rising issue does anyone else wish educated fans could migrate over to Tiktok? MJTWT has some of the best defenders but they only stay in that bubble. I have only seen a few well researched defenders on TikTok and they don't get the best reach, but there is one called mj.historian who has 50k followers and has millions of views and has helped changed several stances. Unfortunately he posts once in a blue moon. Does anyone else wish more defenders moved to Tiktok?
