not for me?

i’ve been on mirt for only two days with a follow up planned with my doctor for a week after being on it but i’m suffering so badly. i’m heavy, dizzy, can’t form sentences, the brain fog is awful and i’m still waking up every hour in my sleep but now with added panic because i can hardly move my limbs, they feel so weak and shaky. i’ve been monitoring my blood pressure and it’s bouncing around between normal and low but never under like 100/62.

unsure if i’m just being too sensitive and need to stick it out or if these are signs this medicine isn’t for me- i’ve spent the last two days in bed because i can barely keep my eyes open but can’t actually fall asleep because im not tired i just feel ill and weak and heavy

oh and i can’t stop thinking about food despite not feeling hungry

being prescribed meds

Is getting meds/management for mental health (anxiety/depression/severe mood swings) manageable through a gp and actually helpful? had my first appointment with a psychiatrist and it was the worst experience of my life and i was sent on my merry way with 10 xanax and a family history addiction 😅. i can’t afford to do another introduction appointment with a new psych and im feeling stumped on what route to take next

im in the NSW illawarra area if people have any suggestions on services i can access. i already have a psychologist.

struggling to open mouth

hello, i see my orthodontist in 2 days for my first adjustment and will get to mention it then. ive had my braces on for 8 weeks now and the last maybe 2-3 weeks i’ve noticed especially in the morning or after laying down that i struggle to open my mouth fully, im feeling this resistance and tightness in my jaw not in my teeth.

wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it goes away or if i should be more concerned

gaming monitors

back again with more questions, looking for two decently priced monitors, one 27 and one 23-24ish, i’m okay on the bigger one being curved but i also don’t have my heart set on that. my builds a 5070ti so looking for a 1440 resolution i think. also guidance on if ill need speakers for these, not massively sure on the protocol there.
i play a little bit of fortnite, some story games and generally nothing massive in the AAA realm and im a graphic designer if any of that helps in what specs would be useful :)

budget is honestly as low as available with still some decent quality, but probably under $700 for both if possible but i have wiggle room.
running a 14 year old acer monitor currently so anything is going to be a massive upgrade either way just dont wanna purchase garbage

thank you for any help!

current planned build advice

here’s the build i’m settle on for now, coming in at $3767, looking for any advice on what you think might desperately need to change or if anything screams as not making sense or incompatible! not looking to do a prebuild, I’ve looked through all the eofy deals and i’m set on building haha
there will also be fans they just aren’t on this list

Advice on building

hey all!
building a pc, wanting to stay under or around $4k if possible. will be used for graphic design (photoshop, blender, some light video editing) and gaming, nothing massive or in 4K just the ability to play some bigger games if i’m wanting to try something new but otherwise pretty casual

what would you change if anything on this build, being mindful of budget. definitely after 5070 ti, 32gb ram and 2tb ssd.

how to deal with the depression

i’m 27 and i got my braces put on yesterday and i’m feeling so self conscious and awful, every time i think about how long they’re going to be on for it’s like i feel claustrophobic and start to panic and i currently regret everything about doing this and i don’t know how to last through it. ive kinda just completely shut down at the moment, nothing is cheering me up i feel so empty and don’t want to get out of bed or do anything.
i’m so afraid it’s not going to get better and im just going to have to hate myself and feel empty for 18 months with no way out
