Detergent for top load washing machine recommendations

I just bought a Maytag pet pro top load washing machine. I had a front load machine before this. I currently use all free and clear HE liquid detergent. I’m thinking of switching to pronounce detergent unscented. Is there a certain type of detergent better for top loaders? Thanks in advance!

I just bought this brand new Maytag pet pro top load washing machine and it’s leaving white streaks on most of my clothes especially the dark items. Am I doing something wrong? I use ALL free and clear liquid HE detergent. I have used this forever but I had a front load washer before this. I’ve tried using less detergent (online said to try 1 tablespoon) which is much less than what I was using on my front loader. I’m at a loss and don’t know how to fix this. Should I change my detergent? Is it too little or too much detergent? Any ideas are welcome cause clearly I’m doing something wrong lol

Also, my roommate uses gain pods and he had the same issue but worse when he used the washer with the pods. Idk if that’s important or not.

I have a 12 month old and she’s over 21 pounds but loves being held and being on me. I also love having her on me. My back is worn out and hurting all the time though. I have a stretchy wrap i used all the time the first 6 or so months but she’s too heavy for it now. I’d like to start wearing her on my back with a woven wrap but I’m overwhelmed on where to start and how to find the right one and size. I’m on an extremely tight budget also and from what I’ve seen they’re so expensive.

Does anyone have recommendations on what kind/brand/size for my 12 month old for back carrying?

Is it cheaper and possible to make my own out of linen or cotton? And what does that entail?

Thank you in advance!
