I’ve got a windows 11 install that I’ve got exactly how I want it, I now have an a2141 and plan to use it exclusively for windows and want to clone my nvme drive to it. Would target disk mode work for this or am I looking at a Linux live usb to do it? Is it even possible? I’m wondering if there’s anything on the Mac ssd that can’t be erased I.e. will it fit even?
I have the above in my A6 C6 and can only use the older type iPod cables. It’s driving me mad since I just want to listen to my music and I’m told to use the newer cables I need an update. I’m on version 55.7.0 and believe the update is for version 80.
Apparently MMI units before May 2008 need the update to use newer cables with a slightly different pin out. I can’t find one for a fair price for my older head unit and id rather not change the resistor and pin out.
putting the update on my usb stick it just says I’m not using the right cable or my device isn’t working. I’ve tried two different usb sticks and it’s driving me mad!

Apparently my mmi needs to be at least version 42 and being 55 should be fine?
