KMC BA Economics (Hons.) students/alumni – need honest advice before finalizing my DU preference list

Hi everyone,

I'm a CUET 2026 aspirant and I'm considering BA Economics (Hons.) at Kirori Mal College. I want to get honest experiences and reviews from students/alumni .

I have a few genuine questions:

  • How good is the placement and internship support from the college/department? How much students sit for placements and get it and in which fields?
  • From which year do students usually start getting paid internships, and are they mostly through the placement cell or off-campus?
  • Is the Economics (Hons.) curriculum manageable along with internships, skill-building and societies, especially for someone from a PCM background?
  • How supportive are the faculty and department?
  • Looking back, what is one thing you wish you had known before joining KMC Economics?

I'm not looking for promotional answers. I'd really appreciate honest experiences, both positives and negatives. This is one of the biggest decisions I'll make, so every perspective helps.

Thanks in advance!

Want Honest review of SSCBS ,seniors.

Hey everyone, from my cuet score I am getting SSCBS BMS this year and I am confused between choosing North campus (KMC) BA Economics hons and BMS from SSCBS.

I am from science background (PCM) and not sure what to do in career ahead. I want time to figure out among corporate, business or govt job.

I want honest review from you guys. I have heard about toxic environment at SSCBS, no college life, burn out , hidden gem, placement machine and more about this college. But not sure about it.

Can someone give honest advice, review about this college? It will be very helpful for me to decide.

Thanks🙏

SSCBS (BMS/BBA-FIA) or KMC (Eco Hons)? Totally stuck.

Hey everyone, I'm caught in a dilemma between SSCBS (BMS/BBA-FIA) and KMC (BA Economics Hons).

Honestly, I don't know what I want to do in life yet (corporate vs govt jobs). Right now, I'm pretty introverted and lack communication skills. I want a college that can help me fixing my personality. I also want to side hustles or freelancing to become financially independent.

If you are from SSCBS: How hectic is the schedule? Is there time for side hustles, or is it just non-stop corporate grind?

If you are from KMC/North campus: Does the campus exposure actually transform you? And how safe are the placements for Eco Hons if I drop the Govt job plan?
