I haven't touched a PlayStation since PS2, but I think it's time to jump back in. I'm looking at that Slim Disc "Ghost of Yotei" Limited Edition w/1 controller on Sony Direct, seems like the best deal around...Or do I wait for the Days of Play sale in two weeks and see if something better pops up. Pros and cons of Slim Disc edition for a casual old gamer with a shite TV.
Excited to put this in my Player II JM, but I'm gonna wait two weeks for the Bensonite bridge I ordered to arrive. Anybody else have experience upgrading to an AVRI from a stock trem?
I've just discovered that loop switchers exist and I think I might want one. I'll have many questions, but the first one is how do I set up my 12-14 pedal pedalboard with something like a Boss ES-5? I get keeping "always on" stuff off, but what about gain stacking? Modulation? Just curious how other people do it, trying to understand and get some ideas. Thanks.
Edit: Thanks for all the insight and inspiration, but I feel like a loop switcher, although super cool and useful, isn't right for my current needs and setup.
