Exceeded the torque limit of the Philips head driver and popped it out. Can this Deluxe Tinker be repaired?

Several years ago I snagged this book from a used book shop. It was on a cart on the sidewalk among others that had been marked with an "X" to denote the free books that they didn't want coming back in trade. I loved "When the Legends Die" by Hal Borland, so I grabbed this. It now resides tableside and I read passages frequently. Arranged by date, he waxes poetic about changing seasons, weather, and phases of life. This book is at least the 22nd printing and the particular edition can be easily obtained for under 20 bucks. The book shop where I found it didn't think it was worthy of the dollar table. I'm reminded of this each time there is a post asking what a particular book is worth. I hope all of you have a book (or a few) that have as much value to you, regardless of how much it would fetch on the market.
