An imposter in my Lego collection.
Built the Mattel hot wheels 300 SL, I have to say, for the price tag it punches WAY above its class. The build was enjoyable except for the fact that some pieces just don’t seem to really click together that well. They seemed fragile even when they were all together. The trunk for example.
However I appreciate the printed pieces and really like the fact that they had made specific pieces for this set. I wish Lego did this too for some of their builds. Ie. the new jag that just came out.
Overall though I’ll definitely be following the new stuff they come out with.

I caved
I’ve had my base ps5 for a while now, and while it has been good to me, great even, fomo got me. I will say. If you already have a ps5 and don’t have disposable income or aren’t actively selling your ps5 SAVE YOUR MONEY. Same thing if you do NOT have a 120hz tv then this won’t be worth the upgrade.
Now, for those that DO have some extra coin, game frequently and have a 120hz tv or monitor, upgrade is well worth it. I only played last night and my sample size was just bf6, but instantly I saw the difference.
The menus are so much quicker to cycle through with absolutely no lag, the graphics albeit not a LEAP are definitely a step up. And call me crazy but this thing downloads games and updates faster than my base ps5 ever did. I’m on wifi and not hard wired.
In short, I’ve seen a lot of people hate on the price tag of the pro, and I’ll agree, it sucks. For the money they want I feel like at least a punchier CPU would have been nice. However if you aren’t strapped for cash this thing is a great upgrade and definitely runs smoother than the base ps5.
The difference is most definitely noticeable if you have a nice tv or monitor.
Recent Portland trip
Took the x5 on a two day road trip with my girlfriend down the Oregon coast. We did about 1700kms and this thing didn’t skip a beat. And it only went through a tank and a half of diesel from Vancouver BC and back!
It’s honestly a massive shame that they stopped doing the diesels in North America. After I drive this thing into the ground it would’ve been amazing to upgrade to a 25-26 with a diesel but that can only ever be a dream.
2016 35d with 93k kms on the clock as of this post!
Tail end of night shift is great.
Don’t worry, I wiped down the place where I put my feet. Lol
Selling this thing a few years ago was probably my biggest mistake.
Is this the time all the manufacturers crawl outta the woodwork with all these tempting rifles?
Admittedly after watching Adam Riemann videos I often question if Honda gave the “Africa twin” name to a bike that doesn’t deserve it but this bike has done everything I’ve thrown at it. Whether it be 2up with longer trips or climbing up some sketchy hill on the side of a mountain it’s done well. Of course I haven’t put it on a single track and don’t intend to, but for everything else it’s been rock solid.
