All Day: Candy Castle

Picked this up for at Social Leaf in South TR for $37.50 before tax. Buds felt spongey in the Mylar bag which is always a good sign that the weed is very fresh.

Tastes and smells like a peppery strawberry banana smoothie. Buds look great, covered in purple hues and crystals.

Great Ocimene/Limonene high, I didn’t think about the stress in my life for a good 90 minutes. Perfect strain if you’re looking for a clear mind for an hour or two.

Took 3 pics using different lighting and zoom to show how the same bud can look different.

This is the 5th strain I’ve tried from All Day/Knuckleheads and 4 of them have been very high quality. I would definitely buy this again.

The inflated numbers on flower products explained

I wanted to get to bottom of the inflated THC and terpene percentages in flower products. Ai aside, this explains how the numbers are slightly inflated using math, science and logic.

I used the recent batch of Donny Burger from 710 labs as an example that has 34.84% cannabinoids, 6.18 terps and a 5/18/2026 harvest date on the label.

In conclusion, weed cultivators dry out their weed so it has a moisture % of 2-5% when it gets tested by the lab which inflates the testing number by 7-13% compared to flower that has a moisture % of 9-15%.

The state of NJ only has laws in place against maximum weed moisture percentages to prevent moldy weed from being sold, there is no law for minimum moisture % in weed. So the weed growers can dry out their flower as much as they want and still get it legally tested.

So that specific batch of Donny Burger tested at the lab had a moisture % in the 3-5% range, which inflates the cannabinoids and terpenes by roughly 10%. So the REAL cannabinoids are 31.99% and the terps are roughly 5.5%, NOT 6.18.

So the Cannabinoids and terpenes account for 37.5% of the flowers total weight, which is scientifically possible but is extremely rare and can only happen if they have the genetics for it and everything goes 100% perfect.

How does this affect things when buying weed? If the COA says the moisture is in the 2-5% you range, you know the numbers are roughly 7-13% inflated. If the COA says the moisture is in the 9-15% range, you know the numbers are legit.

710 labs Donny Burger

A review for this strain is kinda pointless bc everyone knows it great but I decided to do one anyways lol

Bud smells and tastes like fruity garlic. It’s covered in triches, even the stem is covered in crystals.

Insanely strong, heavy eyelids and full couch lock.

29.7% THC and 6.18 Terps! This is the first time I’ve seen a flower that has 3 different Terps over 1%. Picked it up at The Social Leaf in South TR for $37.50 with a 10% discount and rewards points.

NEW STRAIN ALERT! Niche x Mona collab. Citrico🍋

Brand new strain from Niche x Mona collab called Citrico. First time I’ve seen Niche flower not come in a jar. Weed was in a Mylar bag shaped like a Lemon.

This is extremely high quality bud, super sticky, heavy bitter sour Lemon smell and taste. Buds are bright green and covered in triches. Breaking up this weed was not fun, my fingers keep sticking together..

It’s basically a Lemon Kush strain that’s VERY strong.

Packaged 8 days ago so it’s extra fresh. 30.34% THC, 5.06 Terps. Picked it up at Zen Leaf in Neptune for $37.41 an 1/8 after the 30% off storewide code.

Offers from Franchise Restaurants

I don’t understand why I continuously get offers from franchise restaurants that are far away when there’s 5 other locations that are closer?

This happens a LOT

It drives me nuts! Like dude, there’s 75 Dunkin donuts closer than the one you ordered from that’s 17 miles away. Why are you ordering from that location?

Why doesn’t DoorDash ask the customer if they wanna change the location to the closest to ensure their food gets there hot, fresh and on time?

Alcohol Delivery

Do most alcohol deliveries pay like crap? I’ve managed restaurants in the past and a general rule of thumb is: people who drink, tip better on average than people who don’t. So, I figured opting into the alcohol delivery would get me more offers for more money. Plus, there’s more of a risk for us delivering alcohol, it’s should pay more.

Well, I was dead wrong, it’s actually the opposite. I’m delivering to broke alcoholics, almost all the booze deliveries are low paying and far away and I’m in the middle of the Jersey Shore market where people come to party. It’s freaking terrible how low the offers are.

Every once in a while the person who orders alcohol also gets food, so you get paid twice and it’s well worth it, but for the most part, it’s horrible. I had to decline so many offers that my acceptance rate has brought me down to silver.

I just got off the phone with DoorDash and told them to take me off alcohol deliveries. Enough of the BS.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Cherry slushie from Kind Tree 14 gram bag

Buds are super sticky and a pain in the ass to break up. It tastes like it smells which I personally love. Cherry Candy flavor.

Weighed 14 grams right on the dot. Those 3 nugs weigh a total of 12.8 grams! The far left bud is 6 grams. Gigantic old school candy kush nugs.

I’ve never seen nugs this big from a dispensary in Jersey. 31.1% total THC and 2.88 terps. Paid $102 before tax, $111 total.

This weed goes to right to the top of my list when it’s on sale.

Picked up an ounce of Zips Blue Candy Rain strain made by Fresh. Got it for $120 at 50% off the original price

Has a really heavy blueberry candy smell, like a jolly rancher. Tastes amazing, a cougher almost every hit. Buds are super frosty and very fluffy. The ounce looked huge and weighed 28.4 grams. My fingers were sticky after breaking up a gram.

27.52% THC and 5.03 terps

It’s always risky buying an ounce from a company you’re never tried before and a strain you’ve never smoked, but this one was a homerun!

The textbook definition of candy gas.

Picked this up on sale for $28 an 1/8.

Smells like cherry Gatorade. One of the smallest 1/8s I’ve ever seen in my life bc the nugs are insanely dense. Needed a grinder to break it up and most of it was still stuck inside.

Would definitely buy this again..
