Snagged the new necklace

Snagged the new necklace

I put a buy offer in this morning once the update went live for 250M, and just waited to see if my buy offer would complete. Low & behold, it buys whilst I'm grinding out Whisperer. Threw it back in at 300M, and within 5 minutes, it sold.

PSA for those travelling to Eryri National Park this week

Use your common sense and follow the advice of Eryri National Park & Mountain Rescue teams.

I understand you all want to make the most out of the warm weather we're having, but please take a little bit of time to assess the risk of hiking for 5-8 hours in 35°C heat.

If you're a beginner and looking to tackle your first mountain, please wait until temperatures are cooler so you don't put yourselves at risk, but also the people around you and Mountain Rescue.

Just look at some of the posts on this sub in the last day about beginners wanting to hike in this heatwave, not having any experience and asking if it is safe to do so. Where is the common sense?

I'm quite an experienced hiker but I wouldn't be caught on a mountain in this heat. It's far too dangerous.

Be responsible and stay safe.

Sunset over Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Photo was taken on 15th February 2024 after 4.5 days of climbing Kilimanjaro. This was taken 6 hours into my 7 hour summit push, just as the sun had began to rise all around me. I reached Stella Point, and captured this scene with an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Mont Blanc (A7R IV)

On a recent trip to Chamonix, I had a photo in mind that I wanted to capture, a photo of Mont Blanc. Unfortunately, the mountains were always shrouded in fog. I did manage to capture the summit between the fog clearing and reappearing whilst sat in the streets of Chamonix.

End of winter wild camping in Bannau Brycheiniog

Decided to get my final winter wild camp of the season in back in March. Poor winter this year, very limited amount of snow compared to previous years. Gorgeous spot near Fan y big with views of the Three Peaks and the valley below.

Using the Tarptent Scarp 1 - there is an obvious bend in the pole (which was fixed & due to a manufacturing error).

Slayer Boss collection logs

I had set myself a goal to get all Slayer boss pets, and I managed to get them all! It's a little annoying that I'm missing two collection logs to fully green-log the bosses but I'm pretty much done with Slayer now.
